حَدَّثَنَا الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق، أخبرنا محمد بن أيوب، أخبرنا أحمد بن عيسى، حَدَّثَنَا عبد الله بن وَهْب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، أنَّ بكيرًا حدَّثه، أنَّ عاصم بن عمر بن قَتادة حدَّثه: أنَّ جابر بن عبد الله عاد المقنَّعَ، ثم قال: لا أخرجُ حتَّى يَحتجِم، فإني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "إنَّ فيه شفاءً" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يُخرجاه!

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he visited a man named al-Muqanna' in his illness and said: "I will not leave until he has cupping (hijamah) done, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: 'Indeed, there is cure in it.'"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it!

حَدَّثَنَا بكر بن محمد الصَّيرَفي بمَرْوٍ ومحمد بن أحمد القَنطَري ببغداد قالا: حَدَّثَنَا أبو قِلَابة عبد الملك بن محمد الرَّقَاشي. وحدثنا أحمد بن إسحاق الفقيه وإسماعيل بن نُجَيد السُّلَمي قالا: حَدَّثَنَا أبو مُسلِم؛ [قالا]: حَدَّثَنَا أبو عاصم، حَدَّثَنَا عبَّاد بن منصور، عن عِكْرمة، عن ابن عباس، أنَّ النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال: "ما مَررتُ بمَلأٍ من الملائكة إلَّا أَمَروني بالحِجَامة" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(On the Night of the Ascension) I did not pass by any assembly of angels except that they ordered me to have cupping (hijamah) done."
