The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked anyone walking right on his heels

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked that anyone should walk (directly behind him) in his footsteps; rather, (he preferred that they walk) to the right or the left.

The like of this is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both).
This hadith of Sulayman bin al-Mughirah is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque with Abu Bakr on his right and Umar on his left, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was holding both of their hands. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is how we will be raised on the Day of Resurrection."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
