Vinegar is the best condiment

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyidah Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me: "Do you have anything to eat?" and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was hungry. I said: I have a few dry pieces of bread, and I feel shy to present them to you (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring them." So I broke those pieces and sprinkled salt on them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is there any condiment?" I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have nothing but vinegar. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring that." When I brought it, he (peace and blessings be upon him) poured it on the food and ate it, then praised Allah Almighty and said: "O Umm Hani'! What an excellent condiment vinegar is! A house in which there is vinegar will never be in want."
Abdullah bin Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both) has also narrated from Umm Hani'.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Sayyidah Umm Hani' (may Allah be pleased with her), and a waterskin was hanging there, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank water (from it) standing.
The children of Umm Hani' (may Allah be pleased with her) have also narrated her hadiths through their forefathers.
