(1). Alqamah bin Abi Alqamah narrates from his mother that a woman entered the house of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and prayed near the blessed chamber of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). She was completely healthy. Then she went into prostration and did not raise her head until she died. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "All praise belongs to Allah, who gives life and gives death. Surely in this incident there is a lesson for me concerning my brother Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakr. He had gone to sleep at his place of midday rest, and when the people went to wake him, they found him dead." So a misgiving had arisen in the heart of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that perhaps he had been treated with some evil, or that haste had been made in burying him while he was still alive. Then she found in this woman's death a source of consolation for herself, and the misgiving that was in her heart went away.

It is narrated from Khalifah bin Khayyat that Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) died in 53 AH. He took part in the Battle of the Camel with his sister, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and he also went to Ibn Amir in Basrah.
