It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a girl in the house of the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), who had a (yellowish or dark) mark on her face, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She has been struck by the evil eye, so seek ruqyah for her."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Grading: The hadith is sahih; all its narrators (to the last of them) are thiqah, Important point: but what is preserved (mahfuz) in it is: 'Urwah from Zaynab bint Abi Salamah from Umm Salamah, as Muhammad bin al-Walid al-Zubaydi narrated it from al-Zuhri in what has passed with the author (al-Hakim) at number (7676); and al-Zubaydi is the most "precise" (adbat, of the firmest memory) of al-Zuhri's companions in it, because he stayed with him a great deal, at home and on journeys. 17/ 556. Technical note / Defect ('illah): As for 'Uqayl (Ibn Khalid al-Ayli), there is disagreement over what was narrated from him in it: al-Layth bin Sa'd narrated it from him in the way the author has recorded it here, "mawsul" through the narration of 'Urwah from 'A'ishah; but Hafiz Ibn Hajar Reference / Source: in "Fath al-Bari" 17/ 556 judged this narration to be a "wahm" (error). (5739). Details of the narration: And 'Abd Allah bin Wahb narrated it from 'Abd Allah bin Lahi'ah, from 'Uqayl, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, as "mursal": that a girl came in to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the house of Umm Salamah… and he mentioned it. Ibn Hajar recorded it thus in "Taghliq al-Ta'liq" 5/ 47-48 from a part of "Fawa'id Abi al-Fadl bin Tahir", with his chain to Ibn Wahb. Important point: And the hadiths of Ibn Wahb from Ibn Lahi'ah are counted among his sound (sahih) hadiths. It appears that al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) preferred this narration in the hadith of 'Uqayl, which is why he mentioned it as "mu'allaq" in his "Sahih" after the hadith of al-Zubaydi (5739).
Note / Clarification: The word "sahih" is taken from manuscript (B); it does not occur in the other manuscripts.
