Sayyidah Umm al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from her sister Sayyidah Duba'ah bint al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with her) that she offered some meat to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) ate some of it, then prayed and did not perform ablution (again on account of eating the meat).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
(27091). Grading: This hadith is "sahih li-ghayrihi" (authentic on the strength of other supporting reports). Technical note / Defect ('illah): All the narrators of this chain are thiqah, but there is disagreement among Qatadah and other narrators in narrating it from Ishaq bin Abdullah bin al-Harith, the details of which are under hadith (27091) of Musnad Ahmad. Important point: 'Allamah al-Mizzi, giving the biography (introduction) of Umm al-Hakam in "al-Tahdhib", said that she is also called Umm Hakim Safiyyah; some wrote 'Atikah and some Duba'ah bint al-Zubayr bin 'Abd al-Muttalib, who was the cousin (daughter of the paternal uncle) of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it at 45/ (27357) with the chain of 'Abd al-Samad bin 'Abd al-Warith, and in it are the words "from his grandmother Umm Hakim". 'Affan bin Muslim is also paired with 'Abd al-Samad in this narration. (7098). Note / Clarification: For further details see hadiths nos. (7097) and (7098), which come later. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: This narration is supported by the hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) in al-Bukhari (207) and Muslim (354): that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ate the meat of a sheep's shoulder and then prayed without performing (fresh) wudu. (356). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Likewise the narration of Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) in Sahih al-Bukhari (210) and Sahih Muslim (356) is present as a shahid (supporting report).
Note / Clarification: According to one view this woman is Duba'ah bint al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with her) herself, as mentioned in the previous note.
