Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7052

حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله بن دينار الزاهد العدل، حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن نصر، حدثنا أبو نعيم، حدثنا مسعر، عن أبي العلاء العبدي - وهو هلال بن خباب - عن يحيى بن جَعْدة بن هبيرة، عن جدته أم هانئ قالت: إن كنتُ لأسمعُ قراءة رسول الله ﷺ في الليل وأنا على عريش أهلي (4). [ومن نساء بنات عبد المطلب بن هاشم بن عبد مناف أروى بنت عبد المطلب] وهي إحدى عمَّاتِ رسول الله ﷺ ورضي عنها.
Yahya bin Ja'dah bin Hubayrah narrates from his grandmother Sayyidah Umm Hani' (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: "I used to hear the recitation of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at night while I was on the raised platform (or elevated place) of my household."
Among the daughters of Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim is Sayyidah Arwa bint Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with her), who is one of the paternal aunts of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and Allah was pleased with her.

Grading: Its chain is "sahih".
Note / Clarification: Abu Nu'aym means al-Fadl bin Dukayn, and Mis'ar means Ibn Kidam.
وأخرجه أحمد 44/ (26905)، وابن ماجه (1349)، والنسائي (1087) من طريق وكيع، وأحمد 45/ (27382) عن أبي معاوية محمد بن خازم، كلاهما عن أبي العلاء العبدي، بهذا الإسناد.
Details of the narration: Imam Ahmad 44/ (26905), Ibn Majah (1349) and al-Nasa'i (1087) narrated it via Waki', and Imam Ahmad 45/ (27382) via Abu Mu'awiyah Muhammad bin Khazim, both from Abu al-'Ala' al-'Abdi, with this same chain.
وأخرجه أحمد 44 / (26894) من طريق ثابت بن يزيد عن هلال بن خباب، به.
Details of the narration: And Imam Ahmad (26894) narrated it via Thabit bin Yazid, from Hilal bin Khabbab.
