حدثنا أبو العباس إسماعيل بن عبد الله بن محمد بن ميكال، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن موسى الحافظ عَبْدانُ، حدثنا أيوب بن محمد الوزان، حدثنا الوليد بن الوليد، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن ثابت بن ثَوْبان، عن بكر بن عبد الله، عن أبيه، عن ابن عباس، عن أم كلثوم بنت النَّبيّ ﷺ أنها قالت: يا رسول الله، زوجي خير أو زوج فاطمة؟ قال: فسكت النَّبيّ ﷺ، ثم قال: "زوجُكِ ممَّن يُحبُّ الله ورسوله، ويُحبُّه الله ورسوله"، فولَّت، فقال لها: "هلُمِّي، ماذا قلتُ؟ " قالت: قلت: زوجي ممَّن يُحِبُّ الله ورسوله ويحبُّه الله ورسوله، قال: "نعم، وأزيدك: دخلت الجنة فرأيتُ منزِلَه، ولم أرَ أحدًا من أصحابي يَعلُوه في منزله" (2). ذكر بناتِ عبد المطلب عمَّاتِ رسول الله ﷺ وبنات عمه وأقاربه فمنهنَّ عمَّتُهُ صَفيَّةُ بنت عبد المطلب أختُ حمزة وأُمُّ الزُّبير بن العوام ﵃ أجمعين

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyidah Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), said: "O Messenger of Allah! Is my husband (Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him) better, or the husband of Fatimah (Ali, may Allah be pleased with him)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent, then said: "Your husband is one of those who love Allah and His Messenger, and whom Allah and His Messenger love." When she turned to go, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come here. What did I say?" She said: You said that my husband loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and I will add something for you: I entered Paradise and saw his dwelling, and I did not find any of my Companions in a place higher than his dwelling."

(2) إسناده تالف، الوليد بن الوليد - وهو العَنسي الدمشقي - متروك كما قال الدَّارَقُطْنيّ ونصر المقدسي، وقال ابن حبان: روى عن ابن ثوبان نسخة أكثرها مقلوب، وقال أبو نعيم الأصبهاني: روى عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ثابت، موضوعات، وشذَّ أبو حاتم الرازي فقال: صدوق، ما بحديثه بأس!
Grading: Its chain is "talif" (ruined).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Walid bin al-Walid (al-'Ansi al-Dimashqi) is "matruk" (abandoned), as al-Daraqutni and Nasr al-Maqdisi said. Ibn Hibban said: He narrated from Ibn Thawban a written collection most of which is "maqlub" (jumbled). Abu Nu'aym al-Asbahani said: He narrated fabrications from Muhammad bin 'Abd al-Rahman bin Thabit. However, Abu Hatim al-Razi took an isolated view and said: He is saduq (truthful); there is no harm in his hadith!
بكر بن عبد الله: هو المزني البصري، ووالده عمرو بن هلال، له صحبة فيما قاله ابن سعد في "الطبقات" 9/ 30، والبخاري في "التاريخ الكبير" 5/ 29 وغيرهما.
Note / Clarification: Bakr bin 'Abd Allah is al-Muzani al-Basri, and his father 'Amr bin Hilal was a Companion, as Ibn Sa'd said in "al-Tabaqat" (9/30), al-Bukhari in "al-Tarikh al-Kabir" (5/29), and others.
