حدثني أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالويه، حدثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق الحربي، حدثنا مصعب بن عبد الله الزبيري قال: واسم أم كلثوم بنتِ رسول الله ﷺ آمِنةُ، زوجها رسول الله ﷺ من عثمان بعد رُقيَّةَ في شهر ربيع الأول، ودخلت عليه في جمادى الآخرة سنة ثمانٍ، وتُوفِّيَت وهي عند عثمان في شعبان سنة تسع، وكانت أم عطية الأنصارية هي التي غسلتها في نسوة من الأنصار.
It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah al-Zubayri, who said: The name of Sayyidah Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), was Aminah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married her to Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) after Sayyidah Ruqayyah, in the month of Rabi' al-Awwal. She was sent to his home in the month of Jumada al-Akhirah in the year 8 AH, and she passed away while still married to Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) in the month of Sha'ban in the year 9 AH. Sayyidah Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah, together with other women of the Ansar, washed her.
