Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7023

It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ishaq, who said that some of the people of knowledge told him that some young men of Abyssinia saw Sayyidah Ruqayyah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), there with Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). She was matchless in beauty, and those people used to come to look at her in wonder and amazement, until, when the Negus went out against his enemy, they were all killed in the battle. Ibn Ishaq said: It is also said that Abdullah bin Uthman died in the month of Jumada al-Ula in the year 4 AH, when he was six years old.
