حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبار، حدثنا يونس بن بكير، عن ابن إسحاق، حدثنا يحيى بن عباد بن عبد الله بن الزبير، عن أبيه، عن عائشة قالت: لما بعث أهل مكة في فداء أساراهم بعثت زينب بنتُ رسولِ الله ﷺ في فداء أبي العاص بقلادة، وكانت خديجة أدخلتها بها على أبي العاص حين بَنَى عليها، فلما رآها رسول الله ﷺ رَقَّ لها رِقَّةً شديدة، وقال: "إن رأيتُم أن تُطلِقوا لها أسيرها، وتردُّوا عليها الذي لها" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: When the people of Makkah sent the ransom for their prisoners, Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) sent, as ransom for her husband Abu al-As, the necklace that Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) had given her at the time of her wedding. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was overcome with intense tenderness, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said (to the Companions): "If you see fit, release Zaynab's prisoner and return her property (the necklace) to her."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
