It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) served bread and meat at the wedding feast of Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her).
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Its narrators are thiqah, but 'Isa bin Tahman made some errors (awham), and we think this is one of them. For what is "mahfuz" (preserved) is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fed the people meat and bread at the wedding feast of "Zaynab bint Jahsh". Al-Dhahabi declared it defective on this basis in "al-Talkhis", saying: "A mistake; this was actually Zaynab." We say: it has already passed in the hadiths of this chapter that the food at Safiyyah's feast was "hays". We did not find this narration of 'Isa bin Tahman anywhere other than with the author (al-Hakim). Important point: As for the report of his (peace and blessings be upon him) feeding meat and bread at Zaynab's wedding feast, it was narrated by Ahmad (19/ 11943), al-Bukhari (4793), Muslim (1428) and others through various routes from Anas bin Malik, and this is what is "mahfuz" in the hadith of Anas.
