Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6947

قال ابن عمر وأخبرني محمد بن يزيد، عن جدَّته، وكانت مولاةَ جُويرية بنت الحارث، عن جُويرية قالت: تزوّجني رسول الله ﷺ وأنا ابنةُ عشرين سنة. قال: وتُوفِّيَت جويرية سنةَ خمسين، وهي يومئذ ابنةُ خمسٍ وستين سنةً، وصلَّى عليها مروان بن الحكم (1).
It is narrated from Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "When I was married to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I was twenty years old." The narrator says: Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her) died in the year 50 AH, and on that day she was sixty-five years old, and Marwan bin al-Hakam led her funeral prayer.

Grading: Its chain is "da'if".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): We could not identify Muhammad bin Yazid or his grandmother (from whom he narrates).
وأخرجه ابن سعد 10/ 116، والطبري 11/ 609 - 610، وابن عساكر 3/ 219 من طريق الواقديّ، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Sa'd (10/ 116), al-Tabari (11/ 609-610) and Ibn 'Asakir (3/ 219) narrated it by way of al-Waqidi with this same chain.
