قال ابن عمر: وحدثني عبد الله بن أبي الأبيض، عن أبيه قال: تُوفِّيَت جُويرية بنت الحارث زوجُ النبيِّ ﷺ في شهر ربيع الأول سنةَ ستٍّ وخمسين في إمارة معاوية، وصلَّى عليها مروانُ بن الحكم، وهو يومئذ والي المدينة (3).
Abdullah bin Abi al-Abyad narrates from his father that he said: Sayyidah Juwayriyah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), died in the month of Rabi' al-Awwal in the year 56 AH, during the governorship of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Marwan bin al-Hakam, who was the governor of Madinah at that time, led her funeral prayer.
