It is narrated from Abu Ubaydah that the name of Abu Halah, the husband of Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), was Hind bin al-Nabbash bin Zurarah, and he had two sons, Hind and Halah. Hind took part in the Battle of Uhud.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: (3) The words "haddathana Abu Khalifah" had dropped out of manuscripts (M) and (S), and we have established them from manuscript (B).
743. Note / Clarification: (4) It has occurred thus with al-Hakim, whereas in al-Tabarani's "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" 22/ 155 it reads: "Abu Ubayd said: Abu Halah was the husband of Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); his name was al-Nabbash, and his son was Hind bin al-Nabbash, from Banu Usayd bin Amr bin Tamim." We (the editors) say: Other names have also been mentioned for him, which Ibn Abd al-Barr recorded in the biography of Hind bin Abi Halah in "al-Isti'ab" p. 743.
