اُردوEn
أخبرنا أبو النَّضر الفقيه، حدثنا عثمان بن سعيد الدارمي، حدثنا عبد الله ابن صالح، حدثني الليث، حدثني يونس بن يزيد، عن ابن شِهاب، أخبرني ابن حَزْم، أنَّ ابن عبّاس وأبا حبَّة الأنصاري أخبراه، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "عُرِجَ بي حتى مررتُ بمستوًى أسمعُ فيه صَرِيفَ الأقلام" (1). ذكرُ المطَّلب بن أبي وَدَاعة السَّهْمي ﵁-
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas and Sayyiduna Abu Habbah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(On the night of the Mi'raj) I was taken up until I reached a level place where I could hear the scratching of the pens."

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد رجاله ثقات غير عبد الله بن صالح -وهو المصري كاتب الليث- وقد توبع.
Grading: This hadith is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): All its narrators are thiqah except 'Abd Allah bin Salih (al-Misri, the scribe of al-Layth), who has been criticised, but he is corroborated here.
وأخرجه البخاري (349) نهاية حديث أبي ذر الطويل عن يحيى بن بكير، عن الليث بن سعد، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Bukhari narrated it (349), at the end of the long hadith of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), from Yahya bin Bukayr, from al-Layth bin Sa'd, with this same chain.
وأخرجه كذلك أحمد 35/ (21288)، والبخاري (3342)، ومسلم (163)، وابن حبان (7406) من طرق عن يونس بن يزيد، به.
