أخبرنا أبو محمد المُزَني، حدثنا أبو خَليفة، حدثنا محمد بن سلَّام الجُمَحي، حدثنا أبو عُبيدة قال: الصَّعْب بن جَثَّامة بن قيس بن عبد الله بن وهب بن يَعْمَر بن عوف بن كعب بن سُلْمى بن ليث، وأمُّ الصَّعب زينبُ بنت حرب بن أُميَّة ابن عبد شمس بن عبد (1) مَنَاف أخت أبي سفيان، واسمُها فاختة بنت حرب، وكان يَنزِلُ وَدَّانَ. It is narrated from Abu Ubaydah that: Al-Sa'b bin Jaththamah bin Qays bin Abdullah bin Wahb bin Ya'mar bin Awf bin Ka'b bin Sulma bin Layth. The mother of al-Sa'b was Zaynab bint Harb bin Umayyah bin Abd Shams bin Abd Manaf, the sister of Abu Sufyan, and her name is also given as Fakhitah bint Harb. He used to live in Waddan.
