Virtues of Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying that Salman is one of us, the people of the household

حدثني أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق، حدثنا مصعب بن عبد الله، قال: وسلمانُ الفارسي يُكنى أبا عبد الله، وكان ولاؤُه لرسولِ الله ﷺ. وقال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "سلمانُ مِنَّا أهل البيت" (1).
It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah that the kunyah of Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) was Abu Abdullah, and he was the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Salman is one of us, the People of the House."
