Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6619

It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah al-Zubayri that the lineage of Ka'b bin Zuhayr and Bujayr bin Zuhayr (the sons of the famous poet Zuhayr bin Abi Sulma, Abu Sulma's name being Rabi'ah) is: Ka'b and Bujayr, sons of Zuhayr bin Abi Sulma bin Riyah bin Qurt bin al-Harith bin Mazin bin Khalawah bin Tha'labah bin Thawr bin Hudhmah bin Latim bin Uthman bin Amr bin Udd bin Tabikhah. These two brothers came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a delegation, accepted Islam, and attained the honour of his companionship.
