أخبرني محمد بن علي بن عبد الحميد الصَّنعاني بمكة، حدثنا إسحاق ابن إبراهيم بن عبَّاد، أخبرنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا مَعمَر عن الزُّهْري، عن سالم قال: أَوْصاني أبي أن أدفِنَه خارجًا من الحَرَم، فلم نَقدِرُ، فدفنَّاه بالحَرَم بفخٍّ في مقبرة المهاجرين (1).

Salim narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Ibn Umar) that he said: My father instructed me to bury him outside the boundaries of the Sanctuary, but we were not able to do so, so we buried him inside the Sanctuary at Fakhkh, in the graveyard of the Muhajirun.

وأخرجه ابن سعد في "الطبقات" 4/ 175 عن محمد بن عمر الواقدي، عن معمر، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Sa'd narrated it in "al-Tabaqat al-Kubra" (4/ 175) from Muhammad bin 'Umar al-Waqidi, from Ma'mar bin Rashid, with this same chain.
