قال ابن عمر: وحدثني إسحاق بن يحيى، حدثنا أبو سَلَمة الحضرمي قال: رأيتُ قبرَ ابن عبّاس وابنُ الحنفيّة قائمٌ عليه، فأَمَرَ به أن يُسطَّحَ (2).
Abu Salamah al-Hadrami narrates: I saw the grave of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah was standing there. He ordered that the grave be made level (flat).

(2) إسحاق بن يحيى: هو ابن طلحة بن عبيد الله التيمي، وهو متفق على ضعفه.
Grading: The narration is weak because of the presence of the narrator Ishaq bin Yahya (Ibn Talhah bin 'Ubayd Allah al-Taymi), since the hadith scholars agree on his weakness.
ورواه من طريق الواقدي الطبريُّ في "ذيل المذيَّل" كما في منتخبه المطبوع في آخر "تاريخه" 11/ 525.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Tabari narrated it through al-Waqidi in "Dhayl al-Mudhayyal", as found in the printed selection (muntakhab) at the end of his "Tarikh" (11/ 525).
وتسطيح القبر: تسويته وعدم تسنيمه.
Note / Clarification: "Tastih al-qabr" technically means making the grave level (flat) on top, not making it hump-shaped (tasnim).
