فأخبرَناه محمد بن عبد الله الشَّعِيري، حدثنا مَحمِشُ بن عِصام، حدثنا حفص بن عبد الله، حدثنا إبراهيم بن طَهْمان، عن شُعبة (3). وأما حديث الوليد بن خالد:
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, I was fifteen years old.

(3) إسناده حسن لأجل الشعيري وشيخه محمش، وقد توبعا. فهو في "مشيخة إبراهيم بن طهمان " (97) برواية ابن عبدوس النيسابوري عن أحمد بن حفص بن عبد الله السلمي عن أبيه عن ابن طهمان.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan" on account of al-Sha'iri and his shaykh Mahmash,
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: because both of them have corroboration; thus it is in "Mashyakhat Ibrahim bin Tahman" (97) in the narration of Ibn 'Abdus al-Naysaburi, who transmits it with the chain of Ahmad bin Hafs al-Sulami from his father from Ibn Tahman.
