Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Because of their long presence at the door of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and their constant service to him (peace and blessings be upon him), I used to think that Asma' and Hind, the sons of Harithah, were nothing but servants of his (peace and blessings be upon him). And both of them were very needy (poor).

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
15/ 570. Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts this word is distorted into "Astarabad", whereas this shaykh was from "Asadabad", not Astarabad. There is a distance of hundreds of miles between these two cities (both are in Iran; Astarabad is in the west near Jurjan and Asadabad in the east near Hamadhan). In the other books of Imam al-Hakim and al-Bayhaqi, the narrations of this narrator named al-Zubayr are correctly present with the name "Asadabad". Reference / Source: For his biography, see "Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'", volume 15, page 570.
Grading: Its chain is "hasan" on account of Zayd bin al-Harish. Technical note / Defect ('illah): More than one narrator narrated from Zayd bin al-Harish (Tarikh al-Islam 5/ 1143). Ibn Hibban mentioned him in "al-Thiqat" 8/ 251 and said that he occasionally erred. Muhammad bin al-Zibriqan is "saduq" and jayyid al-hadith, and all the remaining narrators are thiqah. Note / Clarification: 'Abdan al-Ahwazi is his nickname, and his name is Abd Allah bin Ahmad bin Musa al-Qadi, while Yazid bin Ibrahim refers to "al-Tustari", who resided in Basra. Reference / Source: We did not find this narration "musnad" (with a connected chain) with anyone other than the author (al-Hakim); however, Ibn Sa'd mentioned it in "al-Tabaqat" 5/ 227 from Muhammad bin 'Umar al-Waqidi from Abu Hurayrah as "mu'dal", without a chain.
