أخبرني محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدثنا الفضل بن محمد الشَّعْراني، حدثنا إبراهيم بن حمزة الزُّبيري، حدثنا سفيان بن حمزة الأسلَمي، عن كَثير بن زيد، عن محمد بن حمزة بن عمرو الأسلَمي، عن أبيه حمزة بن عمرو قال: كان يَدُور (1) طعامُ أصحاب رسولَ الله ﷺ على يَدَيْ أصحابه هذه الليلةَ، قال: فدارَ عليَّ، فصنعتُ طعامَ أصحابِ رسول الله ﷺ، فذهبتُ به إليه (2). قال سفيان بن حمزة: وكان حمزةُ بن عمرو الأسلمي يُكنى أبا محمد، مات سنةَ إحدى وستين، وهو ابن إحدى وسبعين سنةً.
Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Amr al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the food for the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to them by turns. One night my turn came, so I prepared food for the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and took it to him (peace and blessings be upon him). Sufyan bin Hamzah said that the kunyah of Hamzah bin Amr al-Aslami was Abu Muhammad, and he died in the year 61 AH at the age of 71.

(1) في نسخنا الخطية: بدو، والمثبت من النسخة المحمودية -كما في طبعة الميمان- ومصادر التخريج، وهو الصواب.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The manuscripts have "badw", whereas the correct reading is what we have established from the Mahmudiyyah manuscript and the other sources.
(2) إسناده محتمل للتحسين إن شاء الله من أجل كثير بن زيد الأسلمي وشيخه محمد بن حمزة.
Grading: Because of Kathir bin Zayd al-Aslami and Muhammad bin Hamzah, this chain can, in sha' Allah, be graded "hasan".
وأخرجه ابن أبي خيثمة في السفر الثاني من "تاريخه" (612)، والطبراني (2991) من طريق إبراهيم ابن حمزة الزبيري، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Abi Khaythamah narrated it in his "Tarikh" (612), and Imam al-Tabarani (2991), through the chain of Ibrahim bin Hamzah al-Zubayri.
وأخرجه الطبراني (2991)، والبيهقي في "دلائل النبوة" 6/ 112 من طريقين عن سفيان بن حمزة، به - بأطول ممّا هنا.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi in "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah" (6/ 112) narrated it through two routes from Sufyan bin Hamzah, in a longer form than here.
