Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6323

Muhammad bin Umar (al-Waqidi) narrates that Sayyiduna Bilal bin al-Harith al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) was among those who carried one of the three banners of the tribe of Muzaynah which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had tied for them on the day of the Conquest of Makkah. His kunyah was Abu Abd al-Rahman. He lived between the two mountains of Muzaynah, al-Ash'ar and al-Ajrad, and came to Madinah often. He died in the year 60 AH, when he was 80 years old.
