حدثني علي بن حَمْشاذَ العدلُ، حَدَّثَنَا الفضل بن محمد بن المسيَّب، قال: سمعت إبراهيم بن المنذر الحِزَاميَّ يقول: حَكِيمُ بن حِزَام بن خُوَيلد بن أَسَد بن عبد العُزَّى بن قُصَيّ، يُكْنَى أبا خالد، مات سنة أربع وخمسين وهو ابن مئةٍ وعشرين سنة، وُلد قبل الفيل بثلاثَ عشرةَ سنة، ومات بالمدينة.
Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam bin Khuwaylid bin Asad bin Abd al-Uzza bin Qusayy, whose kunyah was Abu Khalid, passed away in 54 AH when he was one hundred and twenty years old. He was born thirteen years before the Event of the Elephant, and he passed away in Madinah.
