It is narrated from Mus'ab bin Abdullah al-Zubayri that Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah bin Malik bin Nasr bin Tha'labah bin Jusham bin Uwayf bin Shalil bin Hazimah bin Sakan bin Ali bin Malik bin Zayd bin Qays bin Abqar bin Anmar al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) stayed in Qarqisiya during the days of the tribulation (fitnah), then moved from there to Kufah, and passed away there in the year 51 AH.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Important point: It is written this way (incorrectly) in the manuscripts, whereas in all the sources and biographies of this narrator the correct name is "Harb".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In some sources it is "Nadhir bin Qasr", and in some it is as mentioned here. It is not unlikely that 'Abqar had two sons, Qays and Qasr; in that case Nadhir would be the son of Qasr and Zayd the son of Qays. And Allah knows best.
Important point: In manuscripts (S) and (M) this word is written "'Asr", whereas the word found in manuscript (B) is the correct one, which agrees with the other biographies of the narrator.
