أخبرنا أبو جعفر البغدادي، حدثنا أبو عُلَاثة، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا ابن لَهِيعة، عن أبي الأسود، عن عُروة، فيمن شهد بدرًا مع رسول الله ﷺ من بني حَرَام بن كَعْب: الحُبَابُ بن المُنذِر بن الجَمُوح بن زيد بن حَرَام (2).
It is narrated from Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him), in his listing of the Companions from Banu Haram bin Ka'b who took part in the Battle of Badr with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that Sayyiduna al-Hubab bin al-Mundhir bin al-Jamuh bin Zayd bin Haram (may Allah be pleased with him) was among them.

وأخرجه البيهقي في "دلائل النبوة" 3/ 31 - 35، وابن الأثير في "أسد الغابة" 1/ 436 من طريق يونس بن بُكَير، عن ابن إسحاق، قال: حدثني يزيد بن رُومان، عن عروة بن الزبير. فذكر طرفًا من قصة بدرٍ، وفيها مشورةُ الحباب بن المنذر على النبي ﷺ بتغيير موقع معسكر المسلمين يومئذٍ.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi in "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah" (3/31-35) and Ibn al-Athir in "Usd al-Ghabah" (1/436) narrated it through the route of Yunus bin Bukayr, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Yazid bin Ruman narrated to me from Urwah bin al-Zubayr. He mentioned part of the story of Badr, which includes al-Hubab bin al-Mundhir's advice to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to change the location of the Muslims' camp that day.
وروى قصة مشورته يوم بدر أيضًا أبو داود في "المراسيل" (318) من مرسل يحيى بن سعيد الأنصاري.
Reference / Source: The story of his advice on the day of Badr was also narrated by Abu Dawud in "al-Marasil" (318) as a "mursal" report of Yahya bin Sa'id al-Ansari.
ورواها أيضًا البيهقي في "الدلائل" 3/ 101 - 119 من مرسل موسى بن عقبة.
