Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 5877

It is narrated from Urwah that Sayyiduna Asim bin Adi bin al-Jadd bin Ajlan (may Allah be pleased with him) set out (for jihad) on the day of Badr, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him back and allotted him a share of the spoils along with the people of Badr.
