Muhammad bin Umar narrates from his teachers that they said: On the day of the Battle of the Camel, which that year was Thursday the 10th of Jumada al-Akhirah, after the fighting Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) set off towards Madinah riding a horse called "Dhu al-Khimar". He was martyred in the valley of al-Siba' and was buried there. And it is reported from Sayyiduna Urwah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: My father was martyred on the day of the Battle of the Camel, and his age was four years more than sixty (that is, 64 years).
