It is narrated from Nafi' bin Jubayr bin Mut'im that he said: I heard al-Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) saying to al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Abu Abdullah! It was right here that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered you to plant the banner."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (2) Its chain is sahih. Note / Clarification: Abu Usamah is "Hammad bin Usamah". Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari narrated it (2976) from Muhammad bin al-'Ala', and (4280) from 'Ubayd bin Isma'il; both of them (2976) from Abu Usamah, with this chain. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said in "al-Fath" 12/ 508: "This wording gives the impression that Nafi' was present at the conversation mentioned on the day of the Conquest of Makkah, but that is not so, since he was not a Companion. Rather, in my view it is to be understood that he heard al-'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) say that to al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) afterwards, during a Hajj in which they gathered, either in the caliphate of 'Umar or in the caliphate of 'Uthman."
