Khalifah bin Khayyat mentioned the lineage of Abdullah bin al-Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) and said that Abdullah bin al-Arqam was the scribe of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), of Abu Bakr and of Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
