Khalid bin Sa'id bin Amr bin Sa'id narrates from his uncle Khalid bin Sa'id al-Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from Abyssinia, his daughter Umm Khalid was with him. He brought her to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and she was wearing a yellow shirt which the girl liked very much. She understood some words of the Abyssinian language, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), jesting with her, said to her in the Abyssinian language: 'Sanah, sanah', which in Abyssinian means "Good, good." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), praying for her long life, said: 'Abli wa akhliqi, abli wa akhliqi' (Wear it out and make it old, wear it out and make it old). The narrator said: By Allah, she wore those clothes out thoroughly and was then blessed to wear new clothes. Then the girl leaned towards the back of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and placed her hand on the Seal of Prophethood. Her father wanted to stop her, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave her (say nothing to her)."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, because the two Shaykhs agreed on recording the hadith of Ishaq bin Sa'id bin Amr bin Sa'id from his forefathers and paternal uncles. This is the same Umm Khalid bint Khalid bin Sa'id bin al-As whom her father brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) as a small child; she attained the companionship of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and also narrated hadith from him.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (1) This hadith is "sahih", while this chain, whose narrators are thiqah, is "munqati'". Technical note / Defect ('illah): Because Sa'id bin 'Amr bin Sa'id did not meet Khalid, as al-Dhahabi said in "al-Talkhis". However, Sa'id bin 'Amr also narrated a similar report from "Umm Khalid bint Khalid bin Sa'id", and Sa'id's hearing from her is sound. The story of the garment (qamis) (without the story of the seal of prophethood) was narrated by Ishaq bin Sa'id (Khalid's brother) from his father, from Umm Khalid, as has passed at numbers (2398) and (4294). Important point: So what is correct in the transmission of this hadith is that it is the narration of Sa'id bin 'Amr from Umm Khalid. Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani narrated it in "al-Mu'jam al-Kabir" (4117) from Muhammad bin 'Abdullah al-Hadrami and 'Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal, from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar bin Aban, with this same chain. Reference / Source: And likewise in (4117) by way of Yahya al-Himmani, from Khalid bin Sa'id, with this same chain. Reference / Source: And it is narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari (3071, 5993) by way of 'Abdullah bin al-Mubarak, from Khalid bin Sa'id, from his father, from Umm Khalid. (7579). Note / Clarification: And see what will come later at number (7579).
