Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 5157

Musa bin Jubayr says: I narrated this hadith of Abu Umamah to Salman al-Agharr, and he said: I bear witness that Sayyiduna Sa'id bin al-Harith bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) exactly the same hadith as the Syrians narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him).
Mention of the virtues of Sayyiduna Khalid bin Sa'id bin al-As bin Umayyah bin Abd Shams bin Abd Manaf (may Allah be pleased with him):

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): (2) In the manuscripts this name was corrupted into "Sulayman", whereas the correct name is the one we have established from al-Dhahabi's "Talkhis al-Mustadrak" and Ibn Hajr's "Ithaf al-Maharah" (16769).

Grading: (3) This hadith is "sahih li-ghayrihi", while this chain, like the previous chain, is "weak".
Reference / Source: Al-Daraqutni narrated it in the book "al-Ikhwah" (as in Ibn Hajr's "al-Isabah" [3/ 100]) by way of 'Abdullah bin Lahi'ah with this same chain.
Note / Clarification: A narration like the hadith of Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him), with some additional wording, has passed at number (60), reported by way of 'Ubaydullah bin Salman al-Agharr, from his father.
Details of the narration: From Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no servant who worships Allah, does not associate anything with Him, establishes the prayer, gives zakah and avoids the major sins, except that he will enter Paradise..."
Important point: It seems that this wording is what is "mahfuz" in the narration of Salman al-Agharr. And Allah the Exalted knows best.
