أخبرني أحمد بن جعفر، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا عامر بن صالح بن عبد الله بن عُرْوة بن الزُّبير أبو الحارث، حدثني هشام بن عُرْوة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة، أن النبي ﷺ قال: "أُمرت أن أُبَشِّرَ خديجةَ ببيتٍ في الجنة من قَصَبٍ" (1). قال أبو عبد الرحمن (2): فقلت لأبي: إنَّ يحيى بن مَعِين يَطُعن علي عامر بن صالح هذا، قال: يقول ماذا؟ قلت: رآه سمعَ من الحجّاج، قال: قد رأيتُ أنا حجاجًا يسمع من هُشيم، وهذا عيبٌ أن يسمعَ الرجلُ ممَّن هو أصغرُ منه أو أكبر؟!

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was commanded to give Khadijah the glad tidings of a house of pearls in Paradise." Abu Abd al-Rahman (Abdullah bin Ahmad) said: I said to my father (Imam Ahmad): Yahya bin Ma'in criticises this narrator, Amir bin Salih. He asked: What does he say? I said: He regards it as a fault that he heard from Hajjaj. Imam Ahmad said: I myself have seen Hajjaj hearing from Hushaym. Is it a fault for a man to hear from someone younger or older than himself?!

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف من أجل عامر بن صالح الزبيري، لكنه متابع كما سيأتي عند المصنف برقم (4914).
Grading: This hadith is "sahih", but this chain is "da'if" because of 'Amir bin Salih al-Zubayri; however, he is "corroborated", as will come with the author under number (4914).
وهو في "مسند أحمد" 43 / (26381).
Reference: It is in "Musnad Ahmad" (43/26381).
(2) أبو عبد الرحمن: هو عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل. وخبره هذا في "فضائل الصحابة" لأبيه (1587)، و "الكفاية" للخطيب البغدادي ص 110، و "تاريخ بغداد" له 14/ 152.
Identification of the narrator: Abu 'Abd al-Rahman is "'Abd Allah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal". This report of his is in his father's book "Fada'il al-Sahabah" (1587), al-Khatib's "al-Kifayah" (p. 110) and "Tarikh Baghdad" (14/152).
