Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 382M

Imam al-Hakim said: This hadith is one of the fundamental principles of being cautious about narrating abundantly and of narrating with precision. Imam Muslim used Sharik bin Abdullah as evidence, and he is worthy of that standard, although the two Shaykhs did not include it in their books.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: The text from "from Abu al-Umays" in the previous chain up to here has dropped out ("saqt") of manuscript (B) and the printed edition.

Note / Clarification: This chain is a repetition of the previous chain, and we could not find any clear reason for mentioning it again; most likely it is the result of the copyists' oversight; and Allah knows best.
