فحدَّثَناه محمد بن صالح بن هانئ، حدثنا السَّرِيّ بن خُزَيمة، حدثنا عمر بن حفص بن غِيَاث، حدثنا أَبي، عن عاصم الأحوَل، عن أبي العاليَةِ، عن ابن عبَّاس قال: في سورة الحجِّ سجدتان (2). وأما حديث ابن عمر:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "There are two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj."

(2) إسناده صحيح. أبو العالية: هو رُفيع بن مهران.
Grading: (2) Its chain is "sahih". Abu al-Aliyah: Rufay' bin Mihran.
وأخرجه البيهقي في "السنن" 2/ 318، وفي "معرفة السنن والآثار" (4431) عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi narrated it in "al-Sunan" (2/ 318) and "Ma'rifat al-Sunan wa al-Athar" (4431) through al-Hakim.
وأخرجه ابن أبي شيبة 2/ 11 عن حفص بن غياث، به.
Reference / Source: Ibn Abi Shaybah (2/ 11) narrated it from Hafs bin Ghiyath.
وأخرجه عبد الرزاق في "مصنفه" (5894) عن سفيان الثوري، والبيهقي 2/ 318 من طريق حجاج - وهو ابن أرطاة - كلاهما عن عاصم الأحول، عن أبي العالية، عن ابن عبَّاس بلفظ: فُضِّلت سورة الحج بسجدتين.
Reference / Source: Abd al-Razzaq (5894) and al-Bayhaqi narrated it from Hajjaj (Ibn Artah) and Sufyan al-Thawri, from Asim al-Ahwal, from Abu al-Aliyah, from Ibn Abbas, with the wording: "Surat al-Hajj was given excellence by two prostrations."
