1 مَنْ صَامَ الْأَبَدَ فَلَا صَامَ

Whoever fasts perpetually has not truly fasted

2 «مَنْ خَافَ أَدْلَجَ، وَمَنْ أَدْلَجَ بَلَغَ الْمَنْزِلَ»

Whoever fears sets out early, and whoever sets out early reaches the destination

3 مَنْ يَشْتَهِ كَرَامَةَ الْآخِرَةِ يَدَعْ زِينَةَ الدُّنْيَا

Whoever desires the honor of the Hereafter abandons the adornment of this world

4 مَنْ كَثُرَتْ صَلَاتُهُ بِاللَّيْلِ حَسُنَ وَجْهُهُ بِالنَّهَارِ

Whoever prays much at night will have a good face during the day

10 hadith (408 — 417)

5 مَنْ أَحَبِّ دُنْيَاهُ أَضَرَّ بِآخِرَتِهِ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ آخِرَتَهُ أَضَرَّ بِدُنْيَاهُ

Whoever loves this world harms his Hereafter, and whoever loves his Hereafter harms his world

6 مَنْ أَهَانَ سُلْطَانَ اللَّهِ أَهَانَهُ اللَّهُ، وَمَنْ أَكْرَمَ سُلْطَانَ اللَّهِ أَكْرَمَهُ اللَّهُ

Whoever dishonors Allah's authority, Allah will dishonor him; whoever honors Allah's authority, Allah will honor him

7 مَنْ أَحَبَّ عَمَلَ قَوْمٍ خَيْرًا كَانَ أَوْ شَرًّا كَانَ كَمَنْ عَمِلَهُ

Whoever loves the deeds of a people, whether good or bad, is like one who did them

8 مَنِ اسْتَعَاذَكُمْ بِاللَّهِ فَأَعِيذُوهُ، وَمَنْ سَأَلَكُمْ بِاللَّهِ فَأَعْطُوهُ، وَمَنْ دَعَاكُمْ فَأَجِيبُوهُ، وَمَنْ أَتَى إِلَيْكُمْ مَعْرُوفًا فَكَافِئُوهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَادْعُوا لَهُ حَتَّى تَعَلَّمُوا أَنَّكُمْ قَدْ كَافَأْتُمُوهُ

Whoever seeks refuge with you by Allah, grant him refuge; whoever asks you by Allah, give him; whoever invites you, respond; whoever does you a favor, repay him; if you cannot, then pray for him until you think you have repaid him

9 مِنْ مَشَى مِنْكُمْ إِلَى طَمَعٍ فَلْيَمْشِ رُوَيْدًا

Whoever among you walks to seek something, let him walk slowly

10 مَنْ عَمَّرَهُ اللَّهُ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً فَقَدْ أَعْذَرَ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْعُمُرِ

Whoever Allah gives sixty years of life, He has given him ample excuse

11 مَنْ أَصْبَحَ لَا يَنْوِي ظُلْمَ أَحَدٍ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا جَنَى

Whoever wakes up not intending to wrong anyone, his sins are forgiven

12 مَنْ أَلْقَى جِلْبَابَ الْحَيَاءِ فَلَا غِيبَةَ لَهُ

Whoever casts off the cloak of modesty, there is no backbiting against him

13 مَنْ سَاءَتْهُ خَطِيئَتُهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَغْفِرْ

Whoever is saddened by his sin will be forgiven, even if he does not seek forgiveness

14 مَنْ خَافَ اللَّهَ خَوَّفَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَخْفِ اللَّهَ خَوَّفَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

Whoever fears Allah, Allah will make everything fear him; whoever does not fear Allah, Allah will make him fear everything

15 مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ، وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ

Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him

16 مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ يَعْلَمُهُ فَكَتَمَهُ أُلْجِمَ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ

Whoever is asked about knowledge he knows and conceals it will be bridled with a bridle of fire

17 مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُ خَبِيئَةٌ مِنْ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

Whoever among you can have a hidden good deed, let him do so

18 مَنْ فُتِحَ لَهُ بَابُ خَيْرٍ فَلْيَنْتَهِزْهُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي مَتَى يُغْلَقُ عَنْهُ

Whoever is opened a door of goodness, let him seize it, for he does not know when it will be closed

19 مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا وَهُوَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى إِنْفَاذِهِ مَلَأَهُ اللَّهُ أَمْنًا وَإِيمَانًا

Whoever suppresses his anger while able to act upon it, Allah will fill him with security and faith

20 مَنْ مَشَى فِي ظُلْمَةِ اللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Whoever walks in the darkness of night to the mosques, Allah will grant him light on the Day of Judgment

21 مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَجِدَ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ فَلْيُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

Whoever wishes to taste the sweetness of faith, let him love a person only for Allah's sake

22 مَنْ أَصَابَ مَالًا مِنْ نَهَاوِشَ أَذْهَبَهُ اللَّهُ فِي نَهَابِرَ

Whoever acquires wealth through unlawful means, Allah will take it away in calamities

23 مَنْ أُعْطِيَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الرِّفْقِ فَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ حَظَّهُ مِنْ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

Whoever is given a share of gentleness has been given a share of the good of this world and the Hereafter

3 hadith (444 — 446)

24 مَنْ آثَرَ مَحَبَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلَى مَحَبَّةِ النَّاسِ كَفَاهُ اللَّهُ مُؤْنَةَ النَّاسِ

Whoever prefers Allah's love over people's love, Allah will suffice him against people's burdens

25 مَنْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ شِبْرًا خَلَعَ اللَّهُ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ

Whoever leaves the community by a handspan, Allah removes the bond of Islam from his neck

26 مَنْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ وَاسْتَذَلَّ الْإِمَارَةَ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَلَا وَجْهَ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ

Whoever leaves the community and despises the leadership will meet Allah with no face before Him

27 مَنْ نَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنَ الطَّاعَةِ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَجَّةٌ، وَمَنْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ مَاتَ مَيْتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً

Whoever withdraws his hand from obedience will have no proof on the Day of Judgment; and whoever leaves the community dies a death of ignorance

28 مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَسْكُنَ بُحْبُوحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَلْزَمِ الْجَمَاعَةَ

Whoever wishes to dwell in the midst of Paradise, let him stick to the community

2 hadith (451 — 452)

29 مَنْ أَقَالَ نَادِمًا بَيْعَتَهُ أَقَالَهُ اللَّهُ عَثْرَتَهُ

Whoever cancels the sale of a regretful person, Allah will cancel his slip

30 مَنْ كَفِّ لِسَانَهُ عَنْ أَعْرَاضِ النَّاسِ أَقَالَهُ اللَّهُ عَثْرَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ".

Whoever restrains his tongue from people's honor, Allah will forgive his slip on the Day of Judgment

31 مَنْ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَ وَالِدَةٍ وَوَلَدِهَا فَرَّقَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَحِبَّتِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Whoever separates a mother from her child, Allah will separate him from his loved ones on the Day of Judgment

32 مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Whoever grows gray hair in Islam, it will be a light for him on the Day of Judgment

33 مَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

Whoever makes things easy for one in difficulty, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and the Hereafter

34 مَنْ أَنْظَرَ مُعْسِرًا أَوْ وَضَعَ لَهُ أَظَلَّهُ اللَّهُ تَحْتَ ظِلِّ عَرْشِهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ أَلَا ظِلُّهُ.

Whoever gives respite to a debtor or relieves him, Allah will shade him under His Throne on the Day when there is no shade but His

4 hadith (459 — 462)

35 مَنْ كَانَ ذَا لِسَانَيْنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا جَعَلَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لِسَانَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ

Whoever has two tongues in this world, Allah will make for him two tongues of fire on the Day of Judgment

36 مَنْ نَظَرَ فِي كِتَابِ أَخِيهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا يَنْظُرُ فِي النَّارِ

Whoever looks into his brother's letter without permission, it is as if he looks into the fire

37 مَنْ كَانَ آمِرًا بِمَعْرُوفٍ فَلْيَكُنْ أَمْرُهُ ذَلِكَ بِمَعْرُوفٍ

Whoever commands good should do so in a good manner

38 مَنْ أَخْلَصَ لِلَّهِ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا ظَهَرَتْ يَنَابِيعُ الْحِكْمَةِ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ عَلَى لِسَانِهِ

Whoever is sincere to Allah for forty mornings, springs of wisdom will appear from his heart on his tongue

39 مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ

Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest; whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor; whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent

5 hadith (467 — 471)

40 مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ رَجُلٌ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

Whoever a man accepts Islam at his hands, Paradise is guaranteed for him

41 مَنْ نَصَرَ أَخَاهُ بِظَهْرِ الْغَيْبِ نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

Whoever supports his brother in his absence, Allah will support him in this world and the Hereafter

3 hadith (473 — 475)

42 مَنْ فَرَّجَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا فَرَّجَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ سَتَرَ عَلَى أَخِيهِ سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي حَاجَةِ أَخِيهِ كَانَ اللَّهُ فِي حَاجَتِهِ

Whoever relieves his brother of a worldly distress, Allah will relieve him of a distress on the Day of Judgment; whoever conceals his brother, Allah will conceal him in this world and the Hereafter; and Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother; and whoever is in his brother's need, Allah is in his need

3 hadith (476 — 478)

43 مِنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا وَلَوْ مِثْلَ مِفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ

Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, even as small as a bird's nest, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise

2 hadith (479 — 480)

44 مَنْ طَلَبَ عِلْمًا فَأَدْرَكَهُ كُتِبَ لَهُ كِفْلَانِ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ، وَمَنْ طَلَبَ عِلْمًا وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْهُ كُتِبَ لَهُ كِفْلٌ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ

Whoever seeks knowledge and attains it, two shares of reward are written for him; whoever seeks knowledge and does not attain it, one share of reward is written for him

45 مَنْ سَمَّعَ النَّاسَ بِعَمَلِهِ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ سَامِعَ خَلْقِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَحَقَّرَهُ وَصَغَّرَهُ

Whoever makes people hear of his deeds, Allah will make all creation hear of him on the Day of Judgment and belittle him

2 hadith (482 — 483)

46 مَنْ طَلَبَ عَمَلَ الدُّنْيَا بِعَمَلِ الْآخِرَةِ فَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ نَصِيبٍ

Whoever seeks worldly gain through deeds of the Hereafter will have no share in the Hereafter

47 مَنْ أُولِيَ مَعْرُوفًا فَلَمْ يَجِدْ جَزَاءً إِلَّا الثَّنَاءَ فَقَدْ شَكَرَهُ، وَمَنْ كَتَمَهُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَهُ

Whoever is shown kindness and finds nothing to repay except praise, he has thanked him; and whoever conceals it has been ungrateful

2 hadith (485 — 486)

48 مَنْ أُولِيَ مَعْرُوفًا فَلْيُكَافِئْ بِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَلْيَذْكُرْهُ فَإِنْ ذَكَرَهُ فَقَدْ شَكَرَهُ

Whoever is shown kindness, let him repay it; if he cannot, let him mention it, for if he mentions it, he has thanked him

49 مَنْ أَوْلَى رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ مَعْرُوفًا فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَمْ يَقْدِرْ أَنْ يُكَافِئَهُ كَافَأْتُهُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Whoever does a favor to a man from Banu Abd al-Muttalib and cannot repay him, I will repay him on the Day of Judgment

50 مَنْ رَأَى عَوْرَةً فَسَتَرَهَا كَانَ كَمَنْ أَحْيَا مَوْءُودَةً مِنْ قَبْرِهَا

Whoever sees a fault and conceals it is like one who revives a buried girl from her grave

4 hadith (489 — 492)

51 مَنِ انْقَطَعَ إِلَى اللَّهِ كَفَاهُ اللَّهُ كُلَّ مُؤْنَةٍ وَرَزَقَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ، وَمَنِ انْقَطَعَ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا وَكَّلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهَا

Whoever devotes himself to Allah, Allah will suffice him every need and provide for him from where he does not expect; whoever devotes himself to the world, Allah will entrust him to it

5 hadith (493 — 497)

52 مَنْ طَلَبَ مَحَامِدَ النَّاسِ بِمَعَاصِي اللَّهِ عَادَ حَامِدُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ ذَامًا

Whoever seeks people's praise by disobeying Allah, those same people will turn against him

53 مَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَا اللَّهِ بِسَخَطِ النَّاسِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَأَرْضَى عَنْهُ النَّاسَ، وَمَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَا النَّاسِ بِسَخَطِ اللَّهِ سَخِطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَسْخَطَ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسَ

Whoever seeks Allah's pleasure by angering people, Allah will be pleased with him and make people pleased with him; whoever seeks people's pleasure by angering Allah, Allah will be angry with him and make people angry with him

3 hadith (499 — 501)

54 مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى خَيْرِ عَمَلِهِ فَأَرْجُو لَهُ خَيْرًا، وَمَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى سَيِّئِ عَمَلِهِ فَخَافُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلَا تَيْأَسُوا

Whoever dies upon his best deeds, I hope good for him; whoever dies upon his worst deeds, fear for him and do not despair

55 مَنْ أَذْنَبَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ذَنْبًا فَعُوقِبَ بِهِ فَاللَّهُ أَعْدَلُ مِنْ أَنْ يُثْنِيَ عُقُوبَتَهُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ، وَمَنْ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فَسَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَفَا عَنْهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَاللَّهُ أَكْرَمُ مِنْ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي شَيْءٍ قَدْ عَفَا عَنْهُ

Whoever commits a sin and is punished for it in this world, Allah is too just to punish him again; and whoever commits a sin and Allah conceals and forgives him in this world, Allah is too generous to return to something He has forgiven

56 مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَرَعٌ يَصُدُّهُ عَنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ إِذَا خَلَا لَمْ يَعْبَأِ اللَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ

Whoever has no piety to prevent him from disobeying Allah in private, Allah does not care about any of his deeds

57 مَنْ أَحْسَنَ صَلَاتَهُ حِينَ يَرَاهُ النَّاسُ، ثُمَّ أَسَاءَهَا حِينَ يَخْلُو فَتِلْكَ اسْتِهَانَةٌ اسْتَهَانَ بِهَا رَبَّهُ

Whoever perfects his prayer when seen by people, but spoils it in private, has belittled his Lord

3 hadith (505 — 507)

58 مَنْ لَمْ تَنْهَهُ صَلَاتُهُ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ، وَالْمُنْكَرِ لَمْ تَزِدْهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بُعْدًا

Whoever his prayer does not prevent him from indecency and wrongdoing, it only increases him in distance from Allah

59 مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ سَرِيرَةٌ صَالِحَةٌ أَوْ سَيِّئَةٌ نَشَرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهَا رِدَاءً يُعْرَفُ بِهِ

Whoever has a good or bad inner state, Allah will make it known by a garment by which he is recognized

60 مَنْ حَاوَلَ أَمْرًا بِمَعْصِيَةٍ كَانَ أَفْوَتَ لِمَا رَجَا وَأَقْرَبَ لِمَجِيءِ مَا اتَّقَى

Whoever seeks something through disobedience will be further from what he hopes and closer to what he fears

2 hadith (512 — 513)

61 مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، ثُمَّ لِيَفْعَلَ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ

Whoever swears an oath and sees better than it, let him expiate his oath and do what is better

8 hadith (514 — 521)

62 مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَنَاتِ بِشَيْءٍ فَأَحْسَنَ إِلَيْهِنَّ كُنَّ لَهُ سِتْرًا مِنَ النَّارِ

Whoever is tested with daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire

2 hadith (522 — 523)

63 مَنْ قَتَلَ عُصْفُورًا عَبَثًا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَهُ صُرَاخٌ عِنْدَ الْعَرْشِ تَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ سَلْ هَذَا: فِيمَ قَتَلَنِي فِي غَيْرِ مَنْفَعَةٍ

Whoever kills a sparrow for no reason will come on the Day of Judgment with it crying at the Throne: O Lord, ask him why he killed me for no benefit

64 مَنْ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ تَكَثُّرًا فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ جَمْرٌ فَلْيَسْتَقِلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ لِيَسْتَكْثِرْ

Whoever asks people for their wealth to increase his own, it is only fire; let him take little or much

65 مَنْ سَأَلَ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى فَصُدَاعٌ فِي الرَّأْسِ وَدَاءٌ فِي الْبَطْنِ

Whoever asks while being rich, it is a headache and a disease in the stomach

66 مَنْ مَشَى إِلَى طَعَامٍ لَمْ يَدَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَدْ دَخَلَ سَارِقًا وَخَرَجَ مُغِيرًا

Whoever goes to a meal without invitation enters as a thief and leaves as a raider

3 hadith (527 — 529)

67 مَنْ كَانَ وَصْلَةً لِأَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ إِلَى ذِي سُلْطَانٍ فِي مَنْهَجِ بِرٍّ أَوْ تَيْسِيرِ عَسِيرٍ أَعَانَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى إِجَازَةِ الصِّرَاطِ يَوْمَ تُدْحَضُ فِيهِ الْأَقْدَامُ

Whoever is a connection for his Muslim brother to those in authority for good or to ease hardship, Allah will help him cross the bridge on the Day when feet slip

3 hadith (530 — 532)

68 مَنْ أَكَلَ مَا يَسْقُطُ مِنَ الْخِوَانِ عُوفِيَ مِنَ الْجُنُونِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَالْبَرَصِ وَوَلَدُهُ وَوَلَدُ وَلَدِهِ

Whoever eats what falls from the table will be protected from madness, leprosy, and vitiligo, and so will his children and grandchildren

69 مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدَشِيرِ فَهُوَ كَمَنْ غَمَسَ يَدَهُ فِي لَحْمِ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَدَمِهِ

Whoever plays backgammon is like one who dips his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig

70 مَنْ نَزَلَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَلَا يَصُومَنَّ تَطَوُّعًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِمْ

Whoever stays with a people should not fast voluntarily except with their permission

71 مَنِ انْتَهَرَ صَاحِبَ بِدْعَةٍ مَلَأَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ أَمْنًا وَإِيمَانًا

Whoever rebukes a person of innovation, Allah will fill his heart with security and faith

72 مَنْ أَهَانَ صَاحِبَ بِدْعَةٍ أَمَّنَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْفَزَعِ الْأَكْبَرِ

Whoever humiliates a person of innovation, Allah will grant him safety on the Day of Greatest Fear

73 مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مُعَافًى فِي بُدْنِهِ آمِنًا فِي سِرْبِهِ عِنْدَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا حِيزَتْ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا

Whoever wakes up healthy in his body, safe in his home, with his day's provision, it is as if he has gained the whole world

74 مَنْ أَشْرَبَ قَلْبَهُ حُبَّ الدُّنْيَا نَاطَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ مِنْهَا

Whoever's heart is filled with love of the world, Allah will afflict his heart with it

75 مَنْ وَلِيَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَأَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا جَعَلَ مَعَهُ وَزِيرًا صَالِحًا فَإِنْ نَسِيَ ذَكَّرَهُ، وَإِنْ ذَكَرَ أَعَانَهُ

Whoever is given authority over the Muslims and Allah wants good for him, He gives him a righteous advisor; if he forgets, he reminds him, and if he remembers, he helps him

76 مَنْ عَامَلَ النَّاسَ فَلَمْ يَظْلِمَهُمْ وَحَدَّثَهُمْ فَلَمْ يَكْذُبَهُمْ وَوَعَدَهُمْ فَلَمْ يُخْلِفْهُمْ، فَهُوَ مِمَّنْ كَمُلَتْ مُرُوءَتُهُ، وَظَهَرَتْ عَدَالَتُهُ، وَوَجَبَتْ أُخُوَّتُهُ، وَحَرُمَتْ غَيْبَتُهُ

Whoever deals with people without wronging them, speaks to them without lying, and fulfills his promises, his manliness is complete, his justice is apparent, his brotherhood is due, and backbiting him is forbidden

77 مَنْ نَزَلَتْ بِهِ فَاقَةٌ فَأَنْزَلَهَا بِالنَّاسِ لَمْ تُسَدَّ فَاقَتُهُ، وَإِنْ أَنْزَلَهَا بِاللَّهِ أَوْشَكَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِالْغِنَى، إِمَّا ذُخْرٍ آجِلٍ، وَإِمَّا غِنًى عَاجِلٍ

Whoever is afflicted with poverty and seeks relief from people, his need will not be fulfilled; but if he seeks it from Allah, Allah will soon grant him wealth, either stored for later or immediate

78 مَنْ حَفِظَ مَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ وَمَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

Whoever guards what is between his jaws and his legs will enter Paradise

79 مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

Whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his seat in the Fire

80 حُفَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ، وَحُفَّتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ

Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and Hell is surrounded by desires

81 وَجَبَتْ مَحَبَّةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى مَنْ أُغْضِبَ فَحَلُمَ

Allah's love is due to whoever is angered and remains patient

82 بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ

I was sent with concise speech, and supported with awe

83 نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ

I was helped by the east wind, and 'Ad was destroyed by the west wind

84 يَعْجَبُ رَبُّكُ مِنَ الشَّابِّ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ صَبْوَةٌ

Your Lord is amazed at a young man who has no youthful folly

85 كَمَا تَكُونُونَ يُوَلَّى عَلَيْكُمْ

As you are, so will be set over you

86 يُبْعَثُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى نِيَّاتِهِمْ

People will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment according to their intentions

87 يُبْعَثُ شَاهِدُ الزُّورِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَولِغًا لِسَانَهُ فِي النَّارِ

The false witness will be raised on the Day of Judgment with his tongue immersed in the Fire

88 رَحِمَ اللَّهُ امْرَءًا أَصْلَحَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ

May Allah have mercy on one who corrects his tongue

89 رَحِمَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا قَالَ فَغَنِمَ، أَوْ سَكَتَ فَسَلِمَ

May Allah have mercy on a servant who speaks and benefits, or remains silent and is safe

90 رَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُتَخَلِّلِينَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي فِي الْوُضُوءِ وَالطَّعَامِ

May Allah have mercy on those who clean between their teeth in ablution and after food

91 مَنْ شَغَلَهُ ذَكَرِي عَنْ مَسْأَلَتِي أَعْطَيْتُهُ أَفْضَلَ مَا أُعْطِي السَّائِلِينَ

Whoever is occupied with My remembrance from asking Me, I will give him better than what I give to those who ask

92 أَبَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَرْزُقَ عَبْدَهُ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُ

Allah refuses to provide for His believing servant except from where he does not expect

93 كَادَ الْفَقْرُ أَنْ يَكُونَ كُفْرًا، وَكَادَ الْحَسَدُ أَنْ يَغْلِبَ الْقَدَرَ

Poverty almost becomes disbelief, and envy almost overcomes destiny

94 خُصَّ الْبَلَاءُ بِمَنْ عَرَفَ النَّاسَ، وَعَاشَ فِيهِمْ مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْهُمْ

Affliction is specific to those who know people, and among them lives one who does not know them

95 يُطْبَعُ الْمُؤْمِنُ عَلَى كُلِّ خُلُقٍ لَيْسَ الْخِيَانَةَ وَالْكَذِبَ

The believer may have every trait except betrayal and lying

96 تَبْنُونَ مَا لَا تَسْكُنُونَ وَتَجْمَعُونَ مَالًا تَأْكُلُونَ

You build what you do not live in, and gather wealth you do not eat

97 كَمْ مِنْ مُسْتَقْبِلٍ يَوْمًا لَا يَسْتَكْمِلُهُ وَمُنْتَظِرٍ غَدًا لَا يَبْلُغُهُ

How many await a day they do not complete, and expect a tomorrow they do not reach

98 عَجِبْتُ لِغَافِلٍ وَلَا يُغْفَلُ عَنْهُ، وَعَجِبْتُ لِمَؤَمِّلٍ دُنْيَا وَالْمَوْتُ يَطْلُبُهُ، وَعَجِبْتُ لِضَاحِكٍ مِلْءَ فِيهِ وَلَا يَدْرِي أَأَرْضَى اللَّهَ أَمْ أَسْخَطَهُ؟

I am amazed at the heedless while he is not neglected, and at one who hopes for the world while death seeks him, and at one who laughs with a full mouth while not knowing whether Allah is pleased or angry with him

99 يَا عَجَبًا كُلَّ الْعَجَبِ لِلْمُصَدِّقِ بِدَارِ الْخُلُودُ وَهُوَ يَسْعَى لِدَارِ الْغُرُورِ

How strange for one who believes in the eternal abode yet strives for the abode of delusion

100 عَجَبًا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فَوَاللَّهِ لَا يَقْضِي اللَّهُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ قَضَاءً إِلَّا كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ

Amazing is the believer, for by Allah, Allah decrees nothing for him except it is good for him

101 اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَلَا يَزْدَادُ النَّاسُ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا حِرْصًا، وَلَا تَزْدَادُ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا بُعْدًا

The Hour draws near, but people only increase in greed for the world, and it only increases in distance from them

102 يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَتَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَانِ: الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ، وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ

The son of Adam grows old, but two things remain young in him: greed for wealth and greed for life

103 جُبِلَتِ الْقُلُوبُ عَلَى حُبِّ مَنْ أَحْسَنَ إِلَيْهَا وَبُغْضِ مَنْ أَسَاءَ إِلَيْهَا

Hearts are inclined to love those who do good to them and hate those who do evil to them
