مَنْ كَانَ وَصْلَةً لِأَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ إِلَى ذِي سُلْطَانٍ فِي مَنْهَجِ بِرٍّ أَوْ تَيْسِيرِ عَسِيرٍ أَعَانَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى إِجَازَةِ الصِّرَاطِ يَوْمَ تُدْحَضُ فِيهِ الْأَقْدَامُ
Whoever is a connection for his Muslim brother to those in authority for good or to ease hardship, Allah will help him cross the bridge on the Day when feet slip
Musnad ash-Shihab 531 — Whoever is a connection for his Muslim brother
531 - أنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْكَاتِبُ أنا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، هُوَ ابْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى الْغَسَّانِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْمٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ كَانَ وَصْلَةً لِأَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ إِلَى سُلْطَانِ فِي مَبْلَغِ بِرٍّ أَوْ تَيْسِيرِ عَسِيرٍ أَعَانَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى إِجَازَةِ الصِّرَاطِ عِنْدَ دَحْضِ الْأَقْدَامِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever intercedes with a ruler on behalf of his Muslim brother in a good deed or in resolving a difficulty, Allah will help him cross the Bridge (Sirat) on the Day of Judgment at the time when feet will slip."
