573 - أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّمْسَارُ، أنا أَبُو زَيْدٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفَرَبْرِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ، نا مُسْلِمٌ، نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا، وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that indeed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was helped by the east wind (Saba), and the people of ‘Ad were destroyed by the west wind (Dabur)."
