996 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصُّوفِيُّ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْكَنْعَانِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَشْعَثَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ أَشْكَرَ النَّاسِ لِلَّهِ أَشْكَرُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ»
Sayyiduna Ash'ath bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, among the people, the most grateful to Allah is the one who is most grateful to the people."
