Hadith 14271
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever revives barren, deserted land, he will receive its reward, and for every animal that eats from it, he will receive the reward of charity for all of them."
Hadith 14272
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would offer voluntary prayers on his mount, even facing towards the east, but when he intended to offer obligatory prayers, he would dismount and pray facing the Qiblah.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), an Ansari man whose name was "Madhkoor" freed his slave—whose name was Yaqub—saying, "After my death, you are free," and he had no other wealth except him. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) learned of his destitute condition, he said, "Who will buy this slave from me?" Na’eem bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) bought him for eight hundred dirhams. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave that money to the man and said: "When any of you is in difficulty, he should begin charity with himself; if anything remains, then on his children, then on his close relatives, and then spend on those to his right and left."

And when you happen to travel through dry land, then pass through it quickly, and in such a case, prefer to travel at night, because at night it feels as if the earth is being folded up. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions entered into the state of Ihram for Hajj. On that day, except for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Sayyiduna Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), no one had a sacrificial animal with them. However, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came from Yemen, and he also had a sacrificial animal, and he said that he had entered into Ihram with the same intention as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed his companions to consider their Ihram as that of Umrah, perform Tawaf and Sa’i, then cut their hair and become halal (exit Ihram), except for those who had a sacrificial animal with them—they should not do so. Upon this, people began to say among themselves that this means when we proceed towards Mina, drops of impurity will be dripping from our private parts. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) learned of this, he said: “If I had known beforehand what I came to know later, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me, and if I did not have the sacrificial animal with me, I would have become halal (exited Ihram) as well.”
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was in a state of compulsion during this time, so she performed all the rites of Hajj except Tawaf, and when she became free (from her excuse), she performed Tawaf. She said, “O Messenger of Allah! You all are departing with both Hajj and Umrah, and I only with Hajj?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed her brother Abdur Rahman to take her to Tan’eem, so Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) performed Umrah in the month of Dhul-Hijjah after Hajj.
And Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of stoning at Jamrat al-‘Aqabah and said, “O Messenger of Allah! Is this command specific to you?” He replied: “This command is forever.”
Hadith 14280
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done while in the state of ihram due to a sprain in his hip bone or back.
Hadith 14281
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said a few days or a month before his passing: "Today, whoever is alive, a hundred years will not pass before he is no longer alive."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to deliver sermons leaning against the root or trunk of a tree. When the pulpit was made, that piece of wood began to weep in such a manner that all the people present in the mosque heard its sound. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to it and placed his blessed hand on it, and it became silent. Some narrators also say that if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had not gone to it, it would have continued to weep until the Day of Resurrection.

When the night falls, go out of your houses less, for at night Allah spreads many of His creatures as He wills. After a short while, he developed a very high fever. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "Please annul my pledge of allegiance." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) refused. This happened three times. The fourth time, he did not come. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) inquired, and the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) informed him that he had left Madinah. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a detachment consisting of three hundred men and appointed Sayyiduna Abu Ubaid bin Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him) as their commander. On the way, our provisions ran out. Sayyiduna Abu Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) gathered all the people's food in one container and kept giving us from it to eat. We would get only one date per day. A man asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): O Abu Abdullah! What could you do with one date? He replied: We only realized this when even that one date stopped coming. During this time, we came across a very large fish, like a big mound, which the sea had thrown out. The army ate from it for eighteen days. Then Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him) took two of the fish's ribs and set them up, then passed a mount underneath them, and even then it did not touch the rib.

Yahya bin Abi Kathir says that I asked Abu Salamah, "Which part of the Qur'an was revealed first?" He mentioned Surah Al-Muddathir. I said, "Wasn't Surah Iqra' revealed first?" He replied, "I asked the same question to Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), and he gave the same answer. I also asked this question, and he said, 'I am telling you what the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself told us.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'I remained a neighbor in the cave of Hira for a month. When I completed the month and came down from the mountain and reached the bottom of the valley, someone called out to me. I looked ahead, behind, to my right and left, but I saw no one. After a short while, the voice came again. I looked all around again but saw no one. The third time the voice came, I raised my head and saw Jibril (peace be upon him) in the air on his throne. Seeing this, I was overtaken by a severe trembling, and I went to Khadijah and said, "Cover me with a thick blanket." So she covered me with a blanket and poured water over me. At that moment, Allah revealed this verse «يا ايها المدثر قم فانذر» to the end.'"

Sayyiduna Mu'adh prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then went to his people and began reciting Surah Al-Baqarah. One man, seeing this, performed his own prayer and left. Later, someone said to him, "You have become a hypocrite." He replied, "I am not a hypocrite." Then he went and mentioned this matter to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Mu'adh prays with you, then comes back and leads us in prayer. We are people who work in the fields and labor with our own hands. He came and led us in prayer and started with Surah Al-Baqarah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him twice, "Mu'adh, do you want to put people to trial? Why do you not recite Surah Al-A'la and Surah Ash-Shams?"
Hadith 14308

Sufyan says that I asked Amr, "Did you hear Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) say that a man was passing through the Prophet's Mosque and he had some arrows in his hand, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, 'Turn the tips towards yourself instead of pointing them forward'?" He replied in the affirmative.
