It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Satan ties three knots at the back of the head of any one of you while he is sleeping. On each knot he says, "The night is long, so sleep." If the person wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone. If he performs ablution, two knots are undone. And if he offers prayer, all the knots are undone, and he starts his morning in a state that his heart is content and he is energetic. Otherwise, he enters the morning with a dirty heart and is lazy, and he attains no good.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will neither speak to three types of people, nor will He look at them with mercy, nor will He purify them; rather, there will be a painful punishment for them. The first is the person who has surplus water in a desert area and refuses to give it to a traveler. The second is the person who pledges allegiance to a ruler, but his intention is only worldly gain; if he gets it, he remains loyal to the ruler, but if he does not get it, he does not fulfill his pledge of allegiance. The third is the person who, after the Asr prayer, sells some merchandise and swears by Allah before the buyer that he bought the item for such and such a price, and the buyer believes him, while in reality he is not telling the truth.

Usman bin Shamas says that once Marwan passed by Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said, "Keep some of your hadiths from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) safe." After a little while, he came back. We thought in our hearts that now he will disrespect Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) (because there was some displeasure between them). Marwan said, "Which supplication did you hear the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recite in the funeral prayer?" He replied, "I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) say: O Allah, You alone created him, You alone provided for him, You alone guided him towards Islam, and You alone took his soul. You know all his hidden and apparent things. We have come to You as intercessors for him, so forgive him."
Hadith 7478
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Kisra is destroyed, there will be no Kisra after him, and when Caesar is destroyed, there will be no Caesar after him. By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), you will surely spend their treasures in the way of Allah.
