Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 10584
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّ امْرَأَةً دَخَلَتْ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تُصِيبُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ ، وَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A woman entered Hell because of a cat which she had tied up. She neither fed it nor gave it water, nor did she let it go so that it could eat the insects of the earth by itself.
Hadith 10585
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُجِبْ , فَإِنْ كَانَ صَائِمًا فَلْيَصِلْ , وَإِنْ كَانَ مُفْطِرًا فَلْيَطْعَمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: If someone is invited to a meal and he is not fasting, then he should eat, and if he is fasting, then he should pray for them.
Hadith 10586
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ , قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ اشْتَرَى مُصَرَّاةً ، فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ , فَإِنْ رَدَّهَا رَدَّ مَعَهَا صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ , لَا سَمْرَاءَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever buys a goat (having been deceived) whose udders have been tied, then he should either keep the animal with himself (and resolve the matter) or return the animal to its owner and along with it give one sa’ of dates.
Hadith 10587
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْبَهِيمَةُ عَقْلُهَا جُبَارٌ , وَالْمَعْدِنُ عَقْلُهَا جُبَارٌ , وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The wound caused by a beast is without liability; the blood of one who dies by falling into a well is without liability; the blood of one who dies in a mine is also without liability; and for buried treasure (found by someone), one-fifth (khums) is obligatory.
Hadith 10588
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " اخْتَصَمَتْ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ , فَقَالَتْ الْجَنَّةُ : أَيْ رَبِّ مَا لَهَا يَدْخُلُهَا ضُعَفَاءُ النَّاسِ وَسَقَطُهُمْ ؟ ! وَقَالَتْ النَّارُ : يَا رَبِّ مَا لَهَا يَدْخُلُهَا الْجَبَّارُونَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ ؟ ! قَالَ لِلْجَنَّةِ : أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أُصِيبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ , وَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ : أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أُصِيبُ مِنْكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ , وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْكُنَّ مِلْؤُهَا , قَالَ : فَأَمَّا الْجَنَّةُ , فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَظْلِمُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ أَحَدًا , وَإِنَّهَا يُنْشَأُ لَهَا مِنْ خَلْقِهِ مَا شَاءَ , وَأَمَّا النَّارُ , فَيُلْقَوْنَ فِيهَا , وَتَقُولُ : هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ , وَيُلْقَوْنَ فِيهَا , وَتَقُولُ : هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ , حَتَّى يَضَعَ رَبُّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهَا قَدَمَهُ , فَهُنَالِكَ تَمْتَلِئُ وَيَنْزَوِي بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ , وَتَقُولُ : قَطْ قَطْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once Paradise and Hell had a mutual debate. Paradise said: O Lord, what is my fault that only the poor and lowly people will enter me? And Hell said: What is my fault that only the tyrants and arrogant people will enter me? Allah said to Hell: You are My punishment; I will punish with you whomever I wish. And He said to Paradise: You are My mercy; I will have mercy through you on whomever I wish. And I will fill both of you. Thus, for Paradise, Allah the Exalted will create a new creation according to His will, and as people are thrown into Hell, Hell will keep saying: Is there any more? Until Allah the Exalted will place His foot in it by His power, at that time Hell will be filled, and its parts will contract and join together, and it will say: Enough. Enough, enough.
Hadith 10589
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَنَامِهِ , فَلَا يَغْمِسْ يَدَهُ فِي طَهُورِهِ حَتَّى يُفْرِغَ عَلَيْهَا فَيَغْسِلَهَا , فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you wakes up from his sleep, he should not put his hand into a vessel until he has washed it three times, for he does not know where his hand spent the night.
Hadith 10590
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا اقْتَرَبَ الزَّمَانُ , لَمْ تَكَدْ رُؤْيَا الْمُسْلِمِ تَكْذِبُ , وَأَصْدَقُهُمْ رُؤْيَا أَصْدَقُهُمْ حَدِيثًا , وَرُؤْيَا الْمُسْلِمِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ " , قَالَ : وَقَالَ : " الرُّؤْيَا ثَلَاثَةٌ فَالرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ بُشْرَى مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ , وَالرُّؤْيَا تَحْزِينًا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ , وَالرُّؤْيَا مِنَ الشَّيْءِ يُحَدِّثُ بِهِ الْإِنْسَانُ نَفْسَهُ , فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ مَا يَكْرَهُ , فَلَا يُحَدِّثْهُ أَحَدًا , وَلْيَقُمْ فَلْيُصَلِّ " , قَالَ : وَأُحِبُّ الْقَيْدَ فِي النَّوْمِ , وَأَكْرَهُ الْغُلَّ , الْقَيْدُ : ثَبَاتٌ فِي الدِّينِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In the last era, a believer’s dream will not be false, and the truest dream among you will be of the one who is the most truthful in speech. And a Muslim’s dream is one forty-sixth part of prophethood. And there are three types of dreams: good dreams are glad tidings from Allah, some dreams are from a person’s own imagination, and some dreams are from Satan to make a person sad. When any one of you sees a dream that he dislikes, he should not mention it to anyone, rather he should stand up and start offering prayer. Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I like to see “prison” in a dream, but I dislike “shackles,” because the interpretation of prison is steadfastness in religion.
Hadith 10591
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ ، وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ ، فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that saying "Subhan Allah" upon the imam's mistake is prescribed for male followers, and clapping is prescribed for women.
Hadith 10592
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَبْرِدُوا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الْحَرِّ , فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّم " , أَوْ " مِنْ فَيْحِ أَبْوَابِ جَهَنَّمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Perform the prayer after letting it cool down, for indeed the severity of heat is from the effect of the heat of Hell.
Hadith 10593
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : كُنَّا عِنْدَهُ فَإِمَّا تَفَاخَرُوا ، وَإِمَّا تَذَاكَرُوا ، فَقَالَ : الرِّجَالُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَكْثَرُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ , فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : أَوَلَمْ يَقُلْ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ زُمْرَةٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي تَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ , وُجُوهُهُمْ عَلَى صُورَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ , وَالزُّمْرَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ عَلَى أَضْوَإِ كَوْكَبٍ دُرِّيٍّ فِي السَّمَاءِ , لِكُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ زَوْجَتانِ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ , يُرَى مُخُّ سُوقَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحُلَلِ , وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ , مَا فِيهَا مِنْ أَعْزَبَ " .
Muhammad says that once people argued among themselves about whether there would be more men or women in Paradise. So it is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) said that the first group to enter Paradise will have faces shining like the moon on the fourteenth night. The group that enters after them will be like the brightest star in the sky. Each of them will have two wives, whose shin marrow will be visible from outside the flesh, and there will be no unmarried person in Paradise.
Hadith 10594
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , قََالَ : قََالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : " الْفَأْرُ مِمَّا مُسِخَ ، وَسَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِآيَةِ ذَلِكَ إِذَا وُضِعَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا لَبَنُ اللِّقَاحِ ، لَمْ تُصِبْ مِنْهُ ، وَإِذَا وُضِعَ لَبَنُ الْغَنَمِ " ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهُ كَعْبٌ : أَقَالَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ " أَفأُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيَّ التَّوْرَاةُ ؟ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the mouse is from a deformed nation, and its sign is that if camel’s milk is placed before it, it does not drink it, but if goat’s milk is placed before it, it drinks it. Ka’b Ahbar (may Allah have mercy on him), who was a newly converted Jewish scholar, said: “Did you yourself hear this hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?” I replied: “Has the Torah been revealed to me?”
Hadith 10595
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءٍ , غُسِلَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ , أَوَّلُهَا بِالتُّرَابِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When a dog licks the utensil of any one of you, he should wash that utensil seven times and scrub it with earth the first time.
Hadith 10596
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ , عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم قَالَ : " مَنْ أَفْلَسَ بِمَالِ قَوْمٍ ، فَرَأَى رَجُلٌ مَتَاعَهُ بِعَيْنِهِ ، فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a man is declared bankrupt and someone finds his own property with him in its original form, then he has more right to that property than others.
Hadith 10597
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ , أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ , عَنْ عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " مَنْ كَتَمَ عِلْمًا يَعْلَمُهُ ، جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَجَّمًا بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If a person is asked about any matter of knowledge and he conceals it without any reason, then on the Day of Resurrection a bridle of fire will be put in his mouth.
Hadith 10598
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " الضُّعَفَاءُ الْمَظْلُومُونَ ، قَالَ : أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ النَّارِ ؟ " , قَالُوا : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " كُلُّ شَدِيدٍ جَعْظَرِيٍّ هُمْ الَّذِينَ لَا يَأْلَمُونَ رُءُوسَهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise? The people of Paradise will be the weak and oppressed ones. Shall I not tell you about the people of Hell? The people of Hell will be every foolish and arrogant person.
Hadith 10599
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ , عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تَزَالُ نَفْسُ ابْنِ آدَمَ مُعَلَّقَةً بِدَيْنِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى عَنْهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The soul of a Muslim remains suspended until his debt is paid off.
Hadith 10600
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَرَجَ رَجُلٌ يَزُورُ أَخًا لَهُ فِي قَرْيَةٍ أُخْرَى , فَأَرْصَدَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى مَدْرَجَتِهِ مَلَكًا , فَلَمَّا مَرَّ بِهِ , قَالَ : أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ قَالَ : أُرِيدُ فُلَانًا , قَالَ لِلْقَرَابَةِ ، قَالَ : لَا ، قَالَ : فَلِنِعْمَةٍ لَهُ عِنْدَكَ تَرُبُّهَا ؟ قَالَ : لَا , قَالَ : فَلِمَ تَأْتِيهِ , قَالَ : إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، قَالَ : فَإِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكَ , أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُحِبُّكَ بِحُبِّكَ إِيَّاهُ فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A man set out to visit his religious brother who lived in another town. Allah appointed an angel on his way. When he passed by the angel, the angel asked him, "Where are you going?" He replied, "I am going to meet such-and-such a man." The angel asked, "Is there any kinship between you two?" He said, "No." The angel asked, "Is there any favor of his upon you which you are repaying?" He said, "No." The angel asked, "Then why are you going to him?" He said, "I love him for the sake of Allah's pleasure." The angel said, "I have been sent to you by Allah as a messenger to inform you that because of your love for him, Allah loves you."
Hadith 10601
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ , فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 10602
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ , عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , مِثْلَهُ .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 10603
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ : عَبْدِي أَمَتِي , وَلْيَقُلْ : فَتَايَ وَفَتَاتِي " , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should say regarding his slave, "My slave, my maid," rather he should say, "My young man, my young woman."
Hadith 10604
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 10605
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ , وَلَا يَسُومُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ , وَلَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا , وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا , وَلَا تَسْأَلُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي صَحْفَتِهَا ، وَلْتَنْكِحْ , فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No townsman should sell the goods of a villager, nor should he deceive in a sale, nor should a man send his marriage proposal over the proposal of his brother, nor should he sell over the sale of his brother, and no woman should demand the divorce of her sister (whether real or religious) so that she may gather what is in her bowl or vessel for herself; rather, she should marry, for her sustenance is also the responsibility of Allah.
Hadith 10606
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ الْحِكْمَةَ ، ثُمَّ لَا يُخْبِرُ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِ إِلَّا بِشَرِّ مَا سَمِعَ ، كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ أَتَى رَاعِيَ غَنَمٍ , فَقَالَ : أَجْزِرْنِي شَاةً مِنْ غَنَمِكَ , فَقَالَ : اخْتَرْ , فَأَخَذَ بِأُذُنِ كَلْبِ الْغَنَمِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a person who participates in a gathering and hears words of wisdom there, but conveys only the wrong things from it to his companion, is like the person who comes to a shepherd and says, "O shepherd! Slaughter a goat for me from your flock." The shepherd replies, "Go and bring the ear of the best one among them," and he goes and brings the ear of the flock's dog.
Hadith 10607
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : خَطَبَنَا , وَقَالَ مَرَّةً : خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ , " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ فَرَضَ عَلَيْكُمْ الْحَجَّ فَحُجُّوا " , فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : أَكُلَّ عَامٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ فَسَكَتَ ، حَتَّى قَالَهَا : ثَلَاثًا , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَوْ قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ لَوَجَبَتْ , وَلَمَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ : " ذَرُونِي مَا تَرَكْتُكُمْ , فَإِنَّمَا هَلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ بِكَثْرَةِ سُؤَالِهِمْ وَاخْتِلَافِهِمْ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ , فَإِذَا أَمَرْتُكُمْ بِأَمْرٍ , فَأْتُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ , وَإِذَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ , فَدَعُوهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said while delivering a sermon: "O people, Allah has made Hajj to the House of Allah obligatory upon you, so perform Hajj." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Is it every year?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent at this. The questioner repeated his question three times. Upon this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If I had said 'yes,' it would have become obligatory upon you to perform Hajj every year, and you would not have been able to do it." Then he said, "As long as I leave you, you also leave me (i.e., do not ask unnecessary questions). Because the previous nations were destroyed only because of their excessive questioning and their disagreements with their prophets (peace be upon them). Whatever I forbid you from, abstain from it, and whatever I command you to do, do it to the best of your ability. And when I forbid you from something, then leave it."
Hadith 10608
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ , عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ , عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَاحَ , أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ الْجَنَّةَ نُزُلًا كُلَّمَا غَدَا وَرَاحَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning or evening, whenever he goes, Allah prepares hospitality for him in Paradise.
Hadith 10609
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ , عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَقْرَضَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَعِيرًا , فَجَاءَ يَتَقَاضَاهُ بَعِيرَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " اطْلُبُوا لَهُ بَعِيرًا فَادْفَعُوهُ إِلَيْهِ " ، فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلَّا سِنًّا فَوْقَ سِنِّهِ ، فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، لَمْ نَجِدْ إِلَّا سِنًّا فَوْقَ سِنِّ بَعِيرِهِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَعْطُوهُ , فَإِنَّ خِيَارَكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ قَضَاءً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to demand his camel. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the companions (may Allah be pleased with them), "Find a camel of the same age as his and bring it." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) searched but could not find a camel of the required age; every camel was older than that. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then give him an older camel." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The best among you is the one who is best in repaying debts."
Hadith 10610
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيَرْفَعُ الدَّرَجَةَ لِلْعَبْدِ الصَّالِحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، فَيَقُولُ : يَا رَبِّ , أَنَّى لِي هَذِهِ ، فَيَقُولُ : بِاسْتِغْفَارِ وَلَدِكَ لَكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty raises the ranks of a righteous man in Paradise, so he asks, "O my Lord! How did I attain these ranks?" Allah will say, "Because of your child's seeking forgiveness for you."
Hadith 10611
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلُّوا فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ , وَلَا تُصَلُّوا فِي مَعَاطِنِ الْإِبِلِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Offer prayer in sheep enclosures, but do not offer prayer in camel enclosures."
Hadith 10612
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تَقُولُوا لِلْعِنَبِ : الْكَرْمَ , فَإِنَّ الْكَرْمَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ الصَّالِحُ " , حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , بِنَحْوِهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not call a vineyard "Karam," for the real "Karam" is the believing man.
Hadith 10613
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ : أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
Hadith 10614
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , عَنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . وَهِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يُدْخِلُ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ " , قِيلَ : وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " وَلَا أَنَا , إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ وَفَضْلٍ " , وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: None of you will be saved by his deeds. A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), not even you?" He replied, "Not even me, unless my Lord covers me with His forgiveness and mercy." After saying this sentence, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his hand on his head.
Hadith 10615
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ , قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا ، قَالَ : " يَا جِبْرِيلُ ، إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلَانًا , فَأَحِبُّوهُ , فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ : إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُحِبُّ فُلَانًا , فَأَحِبُّوهُ ، فَيُلْقَى حُبُّهُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَيُحَبُّ , وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا , قَالَ : يَا جِبْرِيلُ ، إِنِّي أُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا , فَأَبْغِضُوهُ , فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ : إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا , فَأَبْغِضُوهُ , فَيُوضَعُ لَهُ الْبُغْضُ لِأَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ , فَيُبْغَضُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah loves a servant, He says to Jibreel (peace be upon him): "I love such-and-such a person, so you also love him." Thus, Jibreel begins to love him. Then Jibreel (peace be upon him) announces to the inhabitants of the heavens: "Your Lord loves such-and-such a person, so you also love him." Consequently, all the inhabitants of the heavens begin to love him, and then acceptance for him is placed among the people of the earth. And when Allah dislikes a servant, He also calls Jibreel (peace be upon him) and says: "O Jibreel! I dislike such-and-such a person, so you also dislike him." And Jibreel (peace be upon him) announces to the inhabitants of the heavens: "Your Lord dislikes such-and-such a person, so you also dislike him." Thus, all the inhabitants of the heavens begin to dislike him, and then this dislike is placed in the hearts of the people of the earth.
Hadith 10616
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ بُرْثُنٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كَتَبَ الْجُمُعَةَ عَلَى مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا , فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهَا , وَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَا , فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا فِيهَا تَبَعٌ , فَالْيَوْمُ لَنَا , ولِلْيَهُودِ غَدًا , وَلِلنَّصَارَى بَعْدَ غَدٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah had made Friday obligatory upon the people before us as well, but they differed regarding it, whereas Allah guided us in this matter. Thus, now people follow us concerning this day; tomorrow (Saturday) is for the Jews and the day after tomorrow (Sunday) is for the Christians.
Hadith 10617
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا جُهَيْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَبْدِيُّ , عَنْ خِدَاشِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ , قََالَ : كُنْتُ فِي حَلْقَةٍ بِالْكُوفَةِ , فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ يُحَدِّثُ , قََالَ : كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , فَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ شَهِدَ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ شَهَادَةً لَيْسَ لَهَا بِأَهْلٍ , فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
Khudash bin ‘Ayyash, may Allah have mercy on him, says that we were sitting in a study circle in Kufa where a man was narrating hadiths. He said that we were sitting with Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, and he said: I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever gives testimony concerning a Muslim for something he is not entitled to, then he should prepare his abode in Hell.
Hadith 10618
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ , عَنْ عَطَاءٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ صَفِيَّةَ , وَقَالَ يَعْقُوبُ : صُبَيَّةَ , وَهُوَ الصَّوَابُ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي , لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ , وَلَأَخَّرْتُ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلِ , فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا مَضَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ , هَبَطَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا إِلَى طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ , يَقُولُ قَائِلٌ : أَلَا دَاعٍ يُجَابُ ؟ أَلَا سَائِلٌ يُعْطِيهِ ؟ أَلَا مُذْنِبٌ يَسْتَغْفِرُ فَيُغْفَرَ لَهُ ؟ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I did not fear hardship for my ummah, I would have commanded them to use the miswak at every prayer time and to delay the Isha prayer until one third or half of the night had passed. Because after one third or half of the night has passed, Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven and says: Is there anyone who asks so that I may give to him? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness so that I may forgive him? Is there anyone repenting so that I may accept his repentance? Is there anyone calling so that I may answer his call?
Hadith 10619
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ , عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ , عَنْ أَنَسٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : قَال : يَعْنِي الرَّبَّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : " إِذَا تَقَرَّبَ الْعَبْدُ مِنِّي شِبْرًا , تَقَرَّبْتُ مِنْهُ ذِرَاعًا , وَإِذَا تَقَرَّبَ مِنِّي ذِرَاعًا , تَقَرَّبْتُ مِنْهُ بُوعًا أَوْ بَاعًا , وَإِذَا تَقَرَّبَ مِنِّي بُوعًا أَوْ بَاعًا أَتَيْتُهُ هَرْوَلَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says: When My servant comes near to Me by a span, I come near to him by a cubit; and if he comes near to Me by a cubit, I come near to him by the length of a fathom; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.
Hadith 10620
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ , عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي السَّلِيلِ , عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ , قََالَ : تُوُفِّيَ ابْنَانِ ليِ , فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثًا تُحَدِّثُنَاهُ تُطَيِّبُ بِنَفْسِنَا عَنْ مَوْتَانَا ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ , " صِغَارُهُمْ دَعَامِيصُ الْجَنَّةِ , يَلْقَى أَحَدُهُمْ أَبَاهُ أَوْ أَبَوَيْهِ , فَيَأْخُذُ بِنَاحِيَةِ ثَوْبِهِ أَوْ يَدِهِ كَمَا آخُذُ بِصَنِفَةِ ثَوْبِكَ هَذَا , فَلَا يُفَارِقُهُ حَتَّى يُدْخِلَهُ وَأَبَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ " .
Abu Hassan (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I stayed with Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him). One of my sons had passed away, and I was very grieved by it. I asked him, "Have you heard any hadith from your beloved companion (peace be upon him) that would bring us comfort regarding our deceased?" He said, "Yes, I heard the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) say: The young children of people (who die in childhood) are pillars of Paradise. When one of these children meets his parents, he will hold onto the edge of their garment, just as I am holding onto the edge of your garment, and he will not let go until Allah admits him and his father into Paradise."
Hadith 10621
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ , أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْفٌ , عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ , قََالَ عَوْفٌ : وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " غُفِرَ لِامْرَأَةٍ مُومِسَةٍ مَرَّتْ بِكَلْبٍ عَلَى رَأْسِ رَكِيٍّ يَلْهَثُ , قَدْ كَادَ يَقْتُلُهُ الْعَطَشُ , فَنَزَعَتْ خُفَّهَا , فَأَوْثَقَتْهُ بِخِمَارِهَا , فَنَزَعَتْ لَهُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ , فَغُفِرَ لَهَا بِذَلِكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A sinful woman saw a dog circling around a well on a very hot day, its tongue hanging out due to thirst. She took off her shoe, filled it with water, and gave it to the dog to drink. Because of this act, she was forgiven.
Hadith 10622
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ , أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْفٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا ثَلَاثَةُ أَوْلَادٍ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ , إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُمَا اللَّهُ وَإِيَّاهُمْ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ الْجَنَّةَ , وَقَالَ : يُقَالُ لَهُمْ : ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ , قَالَ : فَيَقُولُونَ : حَتَّى يَجِيءَ أَبَوَانَا " , قَالَ : ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ , فَيَقُولُونَ : مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ , فَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ : " ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنْتُمْ وَأَبَوَاكُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those Muslim husband and wife whose three minor children have passed away, Allah will, by His grace and mercy, grant entry to those children and their parents into Paradise. At first, it will be said to those children, "Go, enter Paradise." They will say, "We will not enter Paradise until our parents come." This question and answer will occur three times. Finally, it will be said to them, "Go, you and your parents, enter Paradise."
Hadith 10623
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ , عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ صَلَاتَيْنِ , وَعَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ , وَعَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ : نَهَى عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ , وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ , وَعَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ , وَعَنِ الِاحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ تُفْضِي بِفَرْجِكَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two types of prayers, two types of buying and selling, and two types of clothing. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade prayer after the Fajr prayer until sunrise and after the Asr prayer until sunset. As for clothing, it is that a person sits wrapped in a single garment in such a way that not even a little part of his private area is covered, and that a person wraps himself in his lower garment while praying. And he forbade the sale by "mulamasa" and "munabaza."
