It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the day of Friday, there comes such an hour that if a Muslim servant happens to encounter it while asking Allah for goodness, Allah will surely grant him that thing. And the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) indicated with his hand to show the brevity of that hour.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever intends to do a good deed but is unable to act upon it, still one good deed is written for him. And if he carries out that good deed, then ten good deeds are written for him. And if a person intends to commit a sin but does not act upon it, that sin is not recorded in his book of deeds. And if he commits it, then only one sin is written. If he did not act upon it, then that sin is not written.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There was a dispute between two women of the Banu Huzail. One of them struck the other, who was pregnant, with a stone and killed her, and the child in her womb was also born dead. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled that the family of the killer must pay the blood money (diyah) for the slain woman and, regarding her child, one "ghurra"—that is, a slave man or woman. Upon this decision, a man objected (in rhymed prose), saying: How can the blood money for a child be decided, who neither ate nor drank, nor spoke nor cried? Such things are usually left aside. According to Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This man is speaking in the manner of poets (in rhymed phrases). Yes, in this case, a "ghurra"—that is, a slave man or woman—is indeed obligatory.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever offers the funeral prayer for someone will receive a reward equal to one qirat, and whoever waits until the burial is completed will receive a reward equal to two qirats, of which the smaller qirat is equal to Mount Uhud. When Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) learned of this hadith, he considered it very important and sent a man to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to inquire about it. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that Abu Huraira speaks the truth. Upon this, Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: In this way, we have lost many qirats.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah’s right hand is full and is very generous; nothing diminishes it, and He spends day and night. Just see how much He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth, yet what is in His right hand has not decreased at all. And His Throne is upon the water, and in His other hand is the balance, by which He lowers and raises.
