Once, a young man passed by Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was dragging his lower garment. Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) poked him with his stick and said, "Do you not know that Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever drags his lower garment on the ground out of pride, Allah will not look at him with mercy."

And the responsibility of all Muslims is the same; if an ordinary person grants protection to someone, it should be respected. Whoever breaks the protection granted by a Muslim, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. On the Day of Resurrection, none of his obligatory or voluntary acts will be accepted. Madinah Munawwarah is a sanctuary; whoever introduces an innovation in it or gives refuge to an innovator, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not accept any obligatory or voluntary worship from him.

In this way, Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) prevailed over Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him).

But if they replied in the negative, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say, "You should offer the funeral prayer of your companion yourselves."
