It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In earlier times there was a man who had never done any good deed except for believing in the Oneness of Allah. When his death approached, he called his sons and made this will: When I die, burn me in fire until I become coal, then crush me finely and scatter me in the sea winds. After his death, his sons did as he had instructed. At that moment, that man was in the possession of Allah. Allah asked him: O son of Adam, what made you do this act? He replied: My Lord, it was Your fear. Allah forgave him for this, even though he had never done any good deed except for believing in the Oneness of Allah.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If you were to remain in the same state at all times as you are when you are with me, the angels would shake hands with you with their own hands and would come to visit you in your homes. And if you did not commit sins, Allah would bring a people who would commit sins so that Allah could forgive them." We said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), tell us something about Paradise, how is it built?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "One brick is of gold and one brick is of silver, its mortar is pure musk, its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it will always be in bliss and comfort, will never be distressed, will remain forever, will never die, his clothes will never wear out, and his youth will never fade." There are three people whose supplication is never rejected: a just ruler, a fasting person until he breaks his fast, and the supplication of the oppressed. It rises above the clouds, the gates of the heavens are opened for it, and Allah says, 'By My honor, I will surely help you, even if after some time.'"

Narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No one spoke in the cradle except for three boys. (1) Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him), (2) the boy who spoke to Jurayj. Jurayj was the name of a devout man among the Children of Israel. He had built his own monastery and used to worship there. One day, the people of Israel were discussing his worship, upon hearing which a prostitute said, "If you wish, I can put him to trial." The people said, "That is our desire." So, one day while Jurayj was in his place of worship, the woman came to him and sought to seduce him. When Jurayj refused, the woman went and gave herself to a shepherd who used to keep his sheep under Jurayj's monastery, and from the shepherd's seed, a boy was born to her. But she claimed that the boy belonged to Jurayj. The people came to Jurayj (angrily), brought him down, abused him, beat him, and demolished his place of worship. Jurayj asked, "What is the matter?" The people said, "You committed adultery with this prostitute, and she has borne a child from you." Jurayj asked, "Where is the child?" The people said, "Here he is." So Jurayj stood up, prayed, then came to the child, pinched his finger, and asked, "O boy, who is your father?" The boy replied, "Such-and-such shepherd." The people (seeing this truth) began to kiss him and said, "We will rebuild your place of worship in gold." Jurayj replied, "I do not need that, just rebuild it as it was, with clay."
(3) Among the Children of Israel, there was a woman who was breastfeeding her child. By chance, a rider dressed in embroidered clothes passed by. The woman said, "O Allah, make my child like him." The child left his mother's breast, turned towards the rider, and said, "O Allah, do not make me like him," and then resumed suckling. After a while, some people passed by with a slave girl (whom they were beating along the way). The woman said, "O Allah, do not make my child like her." The child immediately stopped suckling and said, "O Allah, make me like her." The mother asked the child, "Why did you wish for this?" The child replied, "That rider was a tyrant (so I prayed not to be like him), and as for this slave girl, people accuse her of adultery and theft, though she has not committed these acts, and she keeps saying, 'Allah is sufficient for me.'"
Narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Only three children have spoken in the cradle. (1) Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him), (2) the child in the time of Jurayj, (3) and another child. Then the narrator, mentioning the complete hadith, said: Jurayj was a devout man among the Children of Israel. He had a mother. One day, while he was praying, his mother came to him out of longing and called him by name. He thought to himself, "O Lord, is prayer better or going to my mother?" Then he continued praying. His mother called him three times, then became very upset and said, "O Allah, show Jurayj the face of immoral women..." Then the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.

One day, while he was praying, his mother longed for him and said: 'O Jurayj!' He said: 'O Lord, prayer is better or my mother whom I should go to?' Then he continued praying. She called him, and he said the same. Then she called him, and he said the same, and he continued praying. This became hard on his mother, and she said: 'O Allah, show Jurayj to the immoral women.' Then he ascended his hermitage, and there was a prostitute from the Children of Israel." Then he mentioned something similar.
