It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conveyed this saying of his Lord: "I am the best among all partners. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The bankrupt of my Ummah will be the person who will come on the Day of Judgment with prayers, fasting, and zakat, but he will have abused someone, slandered someone, unlawfully consumed someone’s wealth. He will be made to sit down, and each of them will be given his good deeds as compensation. If his good deeds finish before the judgment of his sins is completed, then the sins of the claimants will be placed upon him, and then he will be thrown into Hell.

He replied: "O Lord, who can remain independent of Your grace or mercy?"
