It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever spends two paired things from his wealth in the way of Allah will be called from the gates of Paradise, and Paradise has several gates. Whoever is among the people of prayer will be called from the gate of prayer; whoever is among the people of charity will be called from the gate of charity; whoever is among the people of jihad will be called from the gate of jihad; whoever is among the people of fasting will be called from the gate of Rayyan. Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), although there may be no need, will anyone be called from all the gates? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Yes, and I hope that you will be among those people.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a servant gives charity from lawful wealth, Allah accepts it and takes it in His right hand, and just as one of you raises and nurtures his young goat, in the same way Allah nurtures and increases it. And when a person gives even a morsel in charity, in the hand of Allah it keeps increasing until that morsel becomes as big as a mountain. Therefore, give plenty in charity.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once, in the realm of souls, there was a debate between Hazrat Adam and Hazrat Musa (peace be upon them). Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) said, "O Adam! Are you the one who caused your descendants to enter Hell?" Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) replied, "O Musa! Allah chose you for His message and to speak with Him, and He revealed the Torah to you. Did you see me descended upon the earth?" He said, "Yes." In this way, Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) prevailed over Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him).
