It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are three practices from the time of ignorance that Muslims will not abandon: wailing over the dead, seeking rain through the stars, and doing such-and-such. I asked Saeed what this meant. He explained that it refers to, during fights and quarrels, calling upon one's family or saying "O family of so-and-so, O family of so-and-so," as was done in the time of ignorance.
Hadith 7561
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah Almighty, by its blessing, writes ten good deeds for him.

In the copy available to us, there is no hadith or its chain of narration present here; only the word "haddathana" is written. And in the footnote, it is explained as follows: In some copies of Musnad Ahmad, this error has occurred that the scribes took the chain of narration of hadith number 7553 and placed upon it the text of hadith number 7551, which is incorrect.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever owns treasures and does not pay their due right, all his treasures will be made into a slab and heated in the fire of Hell. Then his forehead, sides, and back will be branded with it until Allah decides among His servants. That will be a day whose length, according to your reckoning, will be equal to fifty thousand years. After that, he will be shown his path either to Paradise or to Hell.
Similarly, the person who owns goats but does not pay their due zakat, all those goats will come on the Day of Judgment in a healthier state than before, and the surface of the earth will be made soft for them. Then they will gore him with their horns and trample him with their hooves. Among them, there will be no goat with twisted horns or without horns. As soon as the last goat passes over him, the first one will return, and this will continue until Allah decides among His servants. That will be a day whose length, according to your reckoning, will be equal to fifty thousand years. After that, he will be shown his path either to Paradise or to Hell.
Similarly, the person who owns camels but does not pay their due zakat, all those camels will come on the Day of Judgment in a healthier state than before, and the surface of the earth will be made soft for them. Thus, they will trample him with their hooves. As soon as the last camel passes over him, the first one will return, and this will continue until Allah decides among His servants. That will be a day whose length, according to your reckoning, will be equal to fifty thousand years. After that, he will be shown his path either to Paradise or to Hell.
Then someone asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about horses. He said: The foreheads of horses are a source of concealment and beauty, and sometimes a cause of punishment. The person for whom a horse is a source of reward is the one who keeps and prepares it for jihad in the way of Allah. Whatever enters the belly of such a horse is a source of reward for him. If it drinks water from a river while passing by, the water that enters its belly is also a source of reward. If it eats something while passing by, that too is a source of reward for that person. If it climbs a hill, for every hoofbeat and every step, he will be given a reward, until the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) even mentioned its dung and urine.
And the horse that is a source of concealment and beauty for a person is for the one who keeps it for adornment and does not neglect the rights of its belly and back in ease or hardship.
And the horse that is a source of burden for a person is for the one who keeps horses out of pride, arrogance, and show.
Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about donkeys. He said: Allah Almighty has revealed this comprehensive verse about them: Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.

At this, the Muslim became angry and slapped the Jew. The Jew went to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and related the entire incident. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) called the Muslim and inquired from him, and he admitted to slapping the Jew. Upon this, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Do not give me superiority over Musa (peace be upon him), for on the Day of Resurrection, all people will fall unconscious. I will be the first to regain consciousness, and at that time I will see that Musa (peace be upon him) is holding onto one of the pillars of the Throne. I do not know whether he will be among those who also fall unconscious and regains consciousness before me, or among those whom Allah has exempted."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once, in the realm of souls, there was a debate between Hazrat Adam and Hazrat Musa (peace be upon them). Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) said: O Adam! Are you the one whose mistake caused us to be expelled from Paradise? Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) replied: O Musa, are you the one whom Allah chose to speak to directly and to convey His message? Do you blame me for something which Allah had decreed for me before my creation? In this way, Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) prevailed over Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every day, when one third of the night remains, Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven and announces: Who is there who will supplicate to Me so that I may accept it? Who is there who will ask of Me so that I may grant him? Who is there who will seek forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him? This announcement continues until the break of dawn. For this reason, those people preferred to pray in the last part of the night rather than the first part.
